Country Home immersed in the woodland. Beautiful View, Pool and Jacuzzi

Amazing place with wonderful views! The Hosts were beyond helpful and very gracious!

We spent a wonderful week and didn't want to leave! A true 'home from home' - pristine, very comfortable, prettily furnished and with all 'mod cons', including welcome air conditioning in the bedrooms. The setting is enchanting. The large terrace overlooks beautiful wooded hills and the charming gardens. The pool is well maintained, and a short distance from the house so sharing is no issue. The proximity to Volterra makes this a wonderful base. The pretty town offers a great choice for eating and is easy to access by car and even on foot. Easy day trips from here give you a wonderful taste of Tuscany. Our stay was made perfect by Sara and Antonio who are charming hosts and make you most welcome.

We were looking for a peaceful place to spend a week in and travel around by car. The moment we got to Casa Mia we realized we have fond one of the most beautiful spots one can imagine being located to in Tuscany. The view is excellent, the house itself is very well taken care of (the garden and the common areas as well). There is a pool, Jacuzzi, relax areas and even bikes in case you feel like cycling. I must say that the house looked smaller on the pics but seeing it live it is really impressive. The owners were also wonderful and made us feel at home :) Thank you! If we have a chance we will definitely return.

This was a perfect holiday for us- the house had such beautiful views and the pool was gorgeous. Everything is wonderfully clean and well kept with lots of places to relax, the balcony, daybed with mosquito net etc- we were glad of the very quiet air conditioning too! There is nothing better than spending the morning in Volterra and the afternoon swimming and reading followed by a barbeque and some Chianti in the evening. The children had a great time too, if you get the chance to sample some of Sara's cooking, it's well worth it. We hope to return.
