Country charm meets laid-back luxury, where time slows and hairy moos roam

This was honestly the best farm stay we have ever experienced in Tasmania. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming and incredibly peaceful. The setting is absolutely beautiful – rolling countryside, fresh air, and the kind of quiet that makes you instantly relax.The farm itself was such a highlight. Our kids absolutely loved meeting the animals, especially Basil the goat, who quickly became the star of the trip. They are still talking about him! Seeing the children so excited and engaged with the animals made the experience really special.The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. There was lots of special touches and attention to detail that we appreciated. Waking up to the views of the apple orchard and the sounds of the farm was magical and such a lovely way to start the day.What really made the stay exceptional though was the hospitality. Yolanda and Matthew were incredibly kind and generous, and you can tell how much care they put into the farm and the experience they create for guests.We left feeling refreshed, happy and already talking about when we can come back. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway and a genuine farm experience in Tasmania, this place is absolutely perfect. Highly, highly recommend!

Wonderful farm stay experience.

Everything was just wonderful about our stay at The Barn. The hosts were thoughtful, friendly and incredibly welcoming. Feeding the animals was a real highlight for our children, I am only disappointed we didnt have more time to explore. Very beautiful location with everything you need for a relaxing break. Absolutely loved our stay at the Barn. The accommodation is super spacious, very comfortable beds and every little personal touch to make it feel like home. Our hosts Yolanda and Malcolm gave us a tour of their lovely farm and it was a real bonus being able to feed the animals each day we were there. Cannot recommend highly enough - we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay and loved the house. It's so well renovated and thoughtfully designed. It was also so warm and cosy with a real log fire and heating for the chilly mornings. We especially loved the animals and farm tour, thank you so much. The breakfast food and nibbles were greatly appreciated too. You couldn't have done more. :)

The converted barn was lovely with everything that could possibility be needed. We had a wonderful time.

Great location, Rustic & Luxurious, Warm & Cozy, all modern amenities provided, lovely hosts, and so much fun feeding the cute and friendly animals daily. The property was everything and more than described and in photos. Jolande and Matthew were incredibly friendly and helpful. The barn had everything you could want. The animals were adorable. There were 2 couples and 1 single adult and we loved everything available to us. This was a most interesting barn, warm and full of wonderful fixtures and furnishings. The beds were so comfortable. We loved the small town of Cygnet too and would highly recommend the area of wineries and apple cider cellar doors.
