Cottage Charm

Very nice cottage, would definitely recommend this to anyone going to the Nisswa area.

Worked out perfectly. Plenty of space, clean, and private.

We were in town for a family wedding, and this cabin was the perfect home base to be in close proximity to the various locations we needed to get to in Nisswa. Additionally, it was very clean, well-kept, well-stocked and just as the photos show. To top it off, by dad had lost a precious item while staying there, and they found it and are making sure it’s mailed to him safely. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

This property was as described and even better. Beds were comfy and the home well equipped with everything we needed. Thank you to our host!

2nd VRBO property we've stayed for our annual golf trips. Two years in Biwabik MN and this year Nisswa MN. Both excellent, this one being a free standing residential home. Couldn't have asked for better. Very roomey one level private setting etc etc etc. Property owner/manager very responsive. We'll consider it again on return to Nisswa. THANK YOU!

This VRBO impressed us the moment we turned into the driveway. Tucked away in a wooded area. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. It was extremely clean. It was also a perfect location for us to restaurants and shopping. We could not have picked a better place.

This was the perfect place for our two families to stay stay for a few days. It was clean, comfortable, and close to a lake for a day of boating. Thanks for the great cabin!

The property was as advertised. Very nice & clean. The only improvement I would suggest is another fan as only the Master bedroom had AC. The other 2 bedrooms did not have AC. We stayed on one of the hottest weekends of the year & only had one fan which made the third bedroom warm & stagnant. Everything else about the property was great!

Had a great experience. Initially the doorcode did not work but was let in promptly and everything was smooth sailing from there. Would recommend to anyone!

Although it was a rain out, it was a great place for a family get together.

Property was clean and stocked with everything we could have needed. Close to downtown Nisswa and all the fun activities we wanted to enjoy!

We came up for the Christmas/Fall house tours. The donation to the food shelf was worth it. The 6 of us always have a fun time. Weather was very nice but a little windy but we did not complain. We will be back next year!

We stayed for two nights while in the area for a wedding. The house was as pictured and the location was nice. While there, a piece of a plastic bowl broke off while we were mixing in it. We put the pieces in the garbage and continued making breakfast. The day after our stay, I received an email from VRBO saying I had a new charge. Confused, I opened the email and found the following explanation from the host: Broken bowl and missing coasters. Bowl was found in the garbage. Renter did not notify me of any damage. Without any prior notification or attempt at understanding, she charged us $60 for the broken plastic mixing bowl and then additionally accused us of stealing coasters? And dug through all our trash? The entire thing is strange and honestly insulting. I'm in the process of disputing the charge with VRBO. We are extremely careful to treat properties with respect, follow host rules, and ensure we leave the place as we found it, just as we did at this location. I find it unreasonable that there was no communication prior to the charge as had she reached out, we could have discussed the reimbursement of the bowl. As for the coasters, I don't even know what to say about that as we didn't pay any attention to them, let alone steal them. Overall, I would recommend looking elsewhere to prevent finding yourself in this totally unexpected and unsettling situation.
