We had a great stay. The host was lovely and very accommodating, and the place was clean, comfortable, and well suited for our needs. Exactly what we were looking for.

Amazing, peaceful and cozy place to stay where we could unwind and relax and everything we needed was there.

Whilst we never spent much time here or in the beach area this accomodation was perfect for our occasion plus Anne was great talk with before our arrival.

The cottage was very cosy. When the fire was on it was lovely and warm. Well stocked with items and it was very clean. The garden was lovely. Very nice in the winter, would be fantastic in the summer

We stayed for 4 night, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Plenty or room. Fireplace was fantastic. House was warm. Kitchen had everything. Did day trips to wine region and Hanmer Springs.

Easy to find and access with fantastic friendly communication. House was clean and tidy, warm and comfortable, and well setup with everything needed for a relaxing break away. Easy access to beach. Friendly locals. Close drive to Amberley for supermarket, cafe, etc. Thanks for making our long weekend getaway so relaxing and stressfree!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this lovely cosy seaside cottage. Very peaceful and restful place with everything you’d need.

This place is so warm, really comfy beds and a perfect location if you're checking out the local wineries. Cute little botique shop close by and a forest work was very interesting. It was really nice waking up to Bell Birds singing and the waves of the beach crashing in the distance. Although I was there for a girls weekend, the place was well set up for children and families. Would reccomend this cute little cottage

Great place to stay and has everything you need. Lovely gardens and private outside area . Only short walk to beach and playground too which is a bonus .

We arrived to a warm welcome from Anne, there were 4 adults and one 2yo staying. The yard is great for children, lots of room to run around in and fully fenced, although our 2yo soon worked out how to open the gate . Lovely outdoor to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Only thing I would say is the mattresses could do with an update or at least turning as not the most comfortable beds or pillows. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again when back that way.

We had a wedding and family nearby so stayed in this beautiful cottage, in a great location. Day trips to Lyttleton, Christchurch, Hamner etc. Cottage has everything you need.

Lovely, quiet retreat. Close to the city but so peaceful. A full day of rain was not a problem. Great little place for a break. Thanks.

The way the beds were made up gor the kids was amazing great we spot so close to beach, and the kids loved the fairy houses in the forrest

When you are greeted with bellbird song you know you have arrived at a special place. With impressive gardens, rural vistas and a great wee fire, we were set for a peaceful break from the city. Anne is an incredible host who presents an immaculate property. Thank you for a magical stay!
