Coopers Beach Retreat- the black bach, beachfront and pet friendly

Fantastic in every way! Beautiful inside and out, stunning views, wonderful hosts - just perfect!! We absolutely loved our 3 days here and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook in the future. It was awesome to be able to bring our little dog with us too.

We received a friendly welcome from Sue, and the bach was everything as described. It was clean, comfortable, and the view was beautiful and peaceful.

We only had one night here, but wish he had more.The bach was lovely and had everything we needed, and the views were amazing! Sue was great to deal with and responded quickly to our questions.We will definitely stay again when back in the area.

Fabulous accommodation. It's not real fancy but absolutely perfect in every way and everything is there that you would require. My friend and I travel a lot and this is the only place we have gone back to a 2nd time.Hosts Sue and Hugh are just awesome

Faulous and comfortable little bach with everything you need and a fantastic view. Hosts are welcoming and helpful, and it was so lovely to be able to bring our dogs. Would happily stay here again

Great stay highly recommend

Perfect spot to stay with my dog. Amazing views and direct access to a beautiful beach, which is bordered on each end by reserve areas with trails, pa sites and more great views.The house was clean and attractive, well-stocked, had very nice bedding, and I had a very comfortable stay.The owners are just lovely, and obviously put lots of this love into this holiday house.

Only 1 night but is a very cool bach! Walked down a private path to beautiful beach. Sunset & sunrise from the lounge and bedroom. Host kind & extremely friendly.

Arrived late, left early. Accommodation was exactly what I expected and very comfortable.

Superb location, facilities and hosts. Close to beach with spectacular elevated views of Doubtless Bay.

Trip was for a whanau function. Having this lovely place to relax back to was awesome, with a beautiful view we wished we could have stayed longer.

We only had two nights here but wish that we'd had a week. The guest book had comments from people who'd stayed here 16 times! And to be honest, we were not surprised. Sue and Hugh's bach is lovely - spotlessly clean, very well equipped and just so comfortable. Our sightseeing plans went out the window, we stayed home and enjoyed simply being there, gazing at the sea, walking down through the gorgeous garden to the beach. Our hosts could not have been nicer. Absolutely recommend this place, it was one of the highlights of our time in New Zealand.

This was my third stay going back a number of years now and I wanted to stay at the Bach again as we were going to be in the region and I knew we would not be disappointed with the accommodation and we were not. Sue and Hugh made us welcome as they have done in the past and we can only hope the Bach will be around a lot long to continue to give guests a lot of pleasure.
