Cooley’s Cottage is a beautiful log home with a hot tub!

Cooley’s Cottage was beautiful and very cozy! It has all the amenities to make it feel like home. Luann was very sweet and quick to respond to questions. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking and biking. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit. It was a great trip and we will definitely return!

Could not have been better. The cabin, amenities, setting were perfect. Everything is accounted for, for a very relaxing, worry free stay. Louann is great and very responsive. Top notch.

The house was beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s very close to Ohiopyle Park which was wonderful. It was easy to communicate with Luann and we so appreciated the extra, personal touches including an apple pie for our anniversary!

Cooley’s cottage was perfect for a getaway with our daughter and son in law. The cabin was immaculate, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. It is close to hiking and river activities (although it was too cold the weekend we were there!), and to local attractions such as Fallingwater and several other Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Luann is an excellent communicator “, answering questions and providing suggestions quickly. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and would not hesitate to return.

One of the bests places we’ve stayed…if not the best. The owners clearly take pride in their property. Awaiting our arrival were some yummy homemade treats. It was clean, well maintained, open and spacious, comfy and inviting; and there was ample seating. The kitchen was well stocked. We invited them to visit with their dogs and had a nice little visit. Very kind and warm couple. Respectful of our space and privacy. We will absolutely be going back.

The place is stunning. The hot tub is a fantastic evening view to look at the stars. The fireplace is extremely inviting and cozy. Everything about this place is very welcoming and cozy and we did not want to leave. We will certainly be back!

This was one of the nicest places we ever stayed. The home looks exactly like the pictures and it was impeccably clean and organized. As soon as you walk in, the place feels cozy and right at home. Kevin and Luann are extremely nice people, they answer any questions you have, and they provide anything and everything you could need here. They even had some delicious cinnamon rolls from a local bakery waiting for us when we arrived. We very much enjoyed our stay here and loved using the hot tub. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

This was the girls weekend that we dreamed about for years. The coziness of the living room was what really sold the whole cabin for us and it surpassed expectations. We have intentions on coming back every year until we are too old to be able to step into the hot tub, and even then we will still be coming back. This log home is beautiful! Every amenity you could need is there. The home was spotless, the furniture and beds were extremely comfortable, and all of the appliances are top shelf. And the owners couldn’t be more friendly. We were there on a very snowy weekend and the cabin is a spectacular place to relax and watch the snow fall.

About the closest you're going to get to Ohiopyle without being directly in the park. Owners are on top on all your needs. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin was quaint and fully stocked if you want to cook a meal there. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and its position outside of the house was super private. Perfect place for star gazing. Communication with Luann was top notch. I appreciated the little perks that included Keurig coffee cups and tea. The master bedroom was cozy and the closet was extra large. Very close (6 milesish) to Falling Water and many other fun outdoors activities. We will be back to explore all the things we didn't see this time. Oh, yes, one more thing. Please eat at the Stone House Inn.

This is one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed in. The cottage has all the amenities of home in a beautiful and quiet setting. The beds are comfortable as is the rest of the cottage, I highly recommend Cooley’s Cottage.

Such a comfortable and welcoming cabin. Clean hot tub under starry skies at night, after hiking and biking nearby trails. We also saw several deer families on the property. Excellent location for Ohiopyle State Park, GAP trail biking and Fallingwater. Also excellent location for just relaxing in the cabin… add an extra night to just hang out and enjoy. The most amazing cottage cabin. Luann and Kevin are so genuinely kind and caring hosts, but as soon as you meet them, they will feel like friends. The cabin is immaculate and Luann’s creative touches are felt around every corner. It’s only 5 minutes outside of Ohiopyle State Park. Just lovely.

The cabin was impeccably clean. Thos was one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub after spending the day in Ohiopyle. Luann was hospitable and responsive. And the muffins were a thoughtful touch. We will definitely stay here again!

I cannot think of a more perfect place to stay. This solid log cabin is incredible cozy, clean and comfortable. The attention to detail given to this property by the host is nothing short of amazing.In the daytime we enjoyed spening time in the catherdral-ceilinged great room, and the evening we enjoyed huddling in the small sitting room off of the well equipped kitchen.The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was a true delight. The landscaping is perfectly manicured and the setting is remarkably quiet. Imagining that this home was mine, I couldn't find a single thing that needed fixing, maintenance that wasn't done etc. If I could give it 6 stars (or 10), I would gladly do so, without reservation.We used this as our home base to visit some local attractions that were within a 30 minute drive in different directions. However, I would also recommend this for anyone looking to unwind and just get away from the ordinary hustle and bustle of the city and suburbs for a few days.

The place is immaculate and the owners were lovely. Very helpful, never intrusive. The place is near town and convenient to the trails. After a day of hiking, we relaxed in the hot tub and watched the stars. The kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to cook. Would highly recommend.

This place checked all the boxes for us. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, full kitchen, very clean. It was about 3 miles to the Ohiopyle SP Visitor Center. Access to hiking, biking and rafting are nearby as are local restaurants.

We are two couples who stayed in Cooley’s Cottage for two nights. It was a great location for our activities: tour Frank Lloyd Wright houses and hike in Ohiopyle State Park. The cottage is located on a quiet parcel just a few miles south of Ohiopyle. It had everything we needed for cooking breakfast and dinner, and for relaxing in the outdoor and indoor spaces. We didn’t realize that there is only one shower - located in the master bathroom. But we were able to make that work without problem, especially since the other couple was my sister and her husband. We enjoyed the hot tub and the many personal touches by the owners. We recommend the cottage highly.

Wonderful and spacious property! Well maintained and a pleasure to stay in this beautiful area. Lots of activities in the area and the GAP trail for cycling is three miles form the property. It is so quiet and relaxing you will love it.

Sounds too good to be true when you read all the wonderful reviews, but don’t worry this cabin is amazingly clean and comfortable. One of my most favorite vacation rentals ever!

We had an amazing stay! Absolutely beautiful property, fantastic hosts, great location, comfortable, and immaculately clean. Everything was as described, easy check in and out. Peaceful and quiet. Great for couples. We came to hike the last 29 miles of the Laurel Highlands Trail that finished in Ohiopyle and chose to stay at Cooley Cottage. It was terrific, can’t say enough, would absolutely stay again.

We loved the house and the area. There are a lot of great things to do and see. The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook. The owners are very pleasant and we loved meeting their puppy.

we had a wonderful stay at the cooley cottage! it was even more spacious than it appeared in the photos, and we felt right at home. the loft was a nice bonus, and we appreciated how accessible it was with the stairs and high ceiling. although we didn't end up using it this time, it would be perfect for larger groups or families. we would definitely love to stay with luann and kevin again if we're ever back in the area.

Luann welcomed us with homemade pumpkin cookies and that set the tone for our stay! The house was so comfortable and in a great location to explore the area, especially Fallingwater. There were plenty of coffee shops and places to eat nearby, and the home was easy to find. Outdoor hot tub at night under the stars was a highlight! The house is very spacious but note there is only one full bathroom/shower which is an en-suite in the primary bedroom, so larger groups or unrelated parties may want to consider that.

I wish I could give Cooley's Cottage 10 stars! It is the coziest, cleanest, and most charming place I have ever stayed at. Luann is so accommodating. I hope I get the chance to return.

Luann is very organized and made our stay enjoyable and simple with all the communication, information and suggestions. We liked the cabin and hot tub, great view of the sky from the hot tub. I did miss my king sized bed as there are only Queen sized beds but we did know that beforehand. There’s plenty of room for a king sized bed and it would be a great addition to an already great cabin.

We love this home away from home. Clean, accommodating. Close to everything. There is not one thing we could ask for to change. It is our favorite place.

Weekend anniversary get away. The cottage was perfectly located so we could enjoy Falling water, Kentucky Knob, Ohiopyle and walks in the woods. This cottage was a home away from home. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay perfect.

Property and cabin are absolutely beautiful. Every possible amenity that you would need for a vacation is on this location. Comfortably can sleep for people. In a quiet, wooded area, excellently maintained. property owners live on the property and are available to help with anything that you would need. Very close to hiking, biking, restaurants, and Whitewater rafting. Frank Lloyd Wright falling water house is within 15 minutes. I definitely plan on returning to this property.
