My wife and I decided on a last minute trip and this location was great! Very relaxing, good food, nice weather.
We wanted a secluded home with a dock within 20 to 25 minutes of a large grocery store. We wanted to crab and fish off the dock and we did. We enjoyed our escape.
nice and peaceful
This property was a perfect spot for us for a week summer vacation. Very spacious and comfortable. It seems much bigger than photos show. Highlights were fishing and crabbing from dock and our boat and also enjoyed the vintage pool table! Half Moon Marina was close and great for launching our rig. Thanks for sharing your place Dana! We'd love to come back sometime.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely, spacious home. We spent every evening on the large dock fishing, crabbing, enjoying the community fireworks display and watching the moon rise. It was a very peaceful and relaxing vacation.
We really enjoyed the large kitchen/living area and large screened porch. We had several plans rained out so it was nice to have the large living area and pool table to enjoy! 3 teen girls loved lounging on the screened porch!
This is our 2nd time staying her and we absolutely love it. Dana is amazing to work with and the place is exactly what you need for relaxation and the view is fabulous. We saw dolphins off and in all day, fished, crabbed and just had a blast.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Clean, spacious, comfortable and an amazing view. Would highly recommend.
Dana was very nice, the next neighbor was very nice and the house was very clean. Fishing was good. Very happy, will book again soon.
Good time over Spring break, will likely return.
No issues at all
We had a great time here and would definitely recommend it
Great place. Fishing good.
Special time here with extended family. Great memories, beautiful dock especially at sunrise and sunset. Very comfortable beds, with spacious accommodations. Internet was able to handle all our many devices.
I was a little disappointed in the house could have been cleaned a little better the vents where filthy and the door where furnace is has black mold
House very spacious. 5 old school mates getting together each year for relaxing and fishing. Plenty of room inside and out. Caught plenty of fish for fish fry, even a enormous Black drum, which we released.
We had a great stay at the Oyster House. It was very clean, comfortable and inviting with the fun river/nautical decor and lots of space. We loved the outdoor area and beautiful views of the river. I would definitely recommend the Oyster House!
Great place to stay. The propane grill needs to be replaced. The water pressure at the sink is bad. The water hose leading out to the dock is broken. Even with the named problems it was a great week. We had six recreational crab traps which we freshley baited each morning and evening for five days and only caught eighteen keeper crabs. Caught a lot of sharks and stingrays. Mud minnows were the best bait which were available at yellowbluff at $3.00 a dozen
Everything about this vacation was wonderful. The check-in process, clean house, perfect location for using the boat, and the surrounding area was nice especially with the Marina close by. I called Dana with a question and she was quick to respond. We are already discussing going back later this year.
My friends and had a great weekend at the Oyster house. The pictures don't do it justice. The outside bar is huge and a great place to hangout. We spent alot of the time on the dock but only caught a few rays and some small sharks plenty of crap tho. Hope too stay here again in the future.
We enjoyed our stay at oyster House. We had fun fishing on the dock we caught four whiting three eels two stingrays two black Seabass and a 6 foot shark. My teenage boys loved it! The beds were all comfortable the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and this location is close to Savannah and to Jekyll Island where we went to visit Driftwood Beach. We had a blast! Loved the coastal Decor!
This property is the perfect place to take a step back and decompress. The marsh front location and private dock are a nature lovers paradise. Our family enjoyed all the amenities this great house has to offer from the spacious interior to the screened in porch , waterfront outdoor kitchen/cabana bar and private dock complete with crab traps. We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay at this property again.
My husband and I stayed 6 days at this property, it was very relaxing. Home has very cute decor, property is very nice. We sat on the dock and saw some dolphins swimming by. Set out our crab pots and ate fresh crabs several times. Fished for a couple of days with no luck but enjoyed sitting and taking in all the beauty. We live at Topsail Island, NC, so we can fish anytime! We visited Savannah, Jekyll Island, St. Simon’s Island and Tybee Island. Property is exactly as it appears on site. Home is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need.
Great time with the boat! House and scenery perfect. Will come again. Marina close by was super easy.
