Convenient Ranch home with 4 bedrooms

Host was amazing; very attentive! Parking was excellent! The home was pretty spacious, clean and well stocked although, the furnishings, linens, shower curtains, etc. seemed a bit tired. We had a great stay and appreciated having a safe place to stay!

Did not get email about the check in process. Mainly the door code. Had to call VBRO to get it. Would like to get a text instead of email. Was on the road driving. Text would be alot better. Same thing happened last when staying at a VBRO

Very nice, clean, well stocked home. We liked the split bedroom floor plan and great open basement. The large fenced backyard was a bonus for our dog. The very convenient location is in a very nice neighborhood with walking paths close by.

The house is situated in a nice neighborhood. The area is quiet. Close to a lot of restaurants and good shopping. The house is neat, basic, roomy. The beds are comfortable. The toilet had an issue and the owner came immediately to fix it. I really appreciated that.

This is a spacious home but could use some furnishing upgrades especially in the largest bedroom. We were grateful for the fenced backyard for our two small dogs but it’s down a flight of stairs from the deck and there isn’t a light in the yard at night so our dogs had difficulty navigating the stairs (and I had trouble cleaning up after them.) A motion-detector light back there would be a great improvement. We didn’t have children so this wasn’t a problem for us, but there is no door to close off the steps to the finished lower level and I imagine this could be a safety concern for families with small children. The property is in a nice quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Des Moines.

The property was perfect to meet up with friends for the weekend. We checked out the Des Moines area during the day and reconnected at the house in the evenings. Beautiful neighborhood to go walking.

The four of us very much enjoyed our stay at the VRBO. It was clean, spacious and affordable. The owner was very prompt with communications both before and during our stay. A couple of things that the house needs are: grab bars on the tub/ showers, regular spatula ( not wooden ones that don’t work real well) , bottle opener for glass beer bottles and at least one hair dryer. These are minor things. Overall it was a good experience.

This is a very nice house in a very nice and safe neighborhood very clean. The only problem was in the description it said sleeps 10 and it does but the owner charges extra for anybody over 4 I questioned it as we had 7 and they did lower the price. This is a very nice place but not sure I would stay again

We rented the property so several out of town family members could all stay together over the wedding weekend.The location and setup of the home was perfect and beautifully met all our needs.

This was a great house for us. We have family in the Des Moines area and it is a half way spot for me to see my daughter who moved to Arkansas. Every February we meet and stay with family. This year our family has grown so we rented a home for our own space. It was perfect.

Four guys stayed for an Iowa State football game. 45 minutes from Jack Trice Stadium. Worked out nice.

Great location, lots of room, very quiet neighborhood. Loved walking in the park.

We were in town for the Iowa St game and everything went perfectly. Iowa St beat Baylor to stay undefeated and the property was terrific for our small group of 6. We were even allowed to have our miniature GoldenDoodle stay as well. Joy was easy to get ahold of if we had any questions and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. Thank you so much for everything!

We returned to Iowa to visit family, friends, and our old stomping grounds - as advertised, this ranch was very convenient in location and layout. We had a wonderful stay, might even bring more of the family next time because there is plenty of room.

Great peaceful neighborhood. Lots of people/families walking. My kids left the door of our vehicle open all night without us noticing and nothing was disturbed. Home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and kitchen was decently stocked for us to make all our meals. Had zero issues during our 5 night stay. Would definitely stay again!

This house was just what we needed while visiting family.

Great location and communication with owner. We have 2 small dogs that travelled with us, so the pet friendly listing and fenced-in back yard very necessary. Not quite sure microfiber sofa is pet-friendly, but backyard access was great. There's a park a couple of blocks away that we used for early morning walks...super nice! Quiet neighborhood deeply appreciated. Gas, coffee, groceries, etc., all close by. Interior ould use some updating, but kitchen well stocked and necessary paper goods all well at hand as well. We had to take our trash to the container in the park as the two dumpsters supplied were full when we arrived on Thursday, and Wednesday was the pick-up day...not sure what happened there. All in all, this house worked out well for our family reunion and we had a great time! Thank you!
