Our family very much enjoyed our stay in Manzanita despite the wet and blustery conditions on the beach. We could stay warm and with great views, but were close enough to catch a nice walk on the beach between downpours. The house had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day.The host was also very good at keeping us informed about various issues that might have an impact on our stay.

Incredible property and town!

This is a beautiful home that was perfect for our family vacation with our adult children / significant others -- it is like a treehouse with its large windows and provides amazing views of the ocean. It is a short walk to the beach, which is easily accessed and bonfire friendly.The home is a short drive from beautiful hikes, kayaking, adorable towns with cute restaurants (and even wine tasting), and other spectacular beaches.The home is well equipped -- we made good use of the kitchen, the grill, the hot tub, and the fire pit, as well as beach chairs, etc. Renae was very responsive, helpful, and pleasant throughout, providing information about things to do and the home.Highly recommended!

We had a truly perfect stay at this home. From the moment we arrived, it exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need.The location was ideal—just a short walk to both the beach and town, yet still offering privacy. Our host, Renae, was responsive, and attentive. Communication was effortless, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had an outstanding experience.

This was our second stay at this beautiful property. A straight up 10/10 experience. We rent vrbo properties several times a year. I have to admit I've become very selective when choosing where to stay. Obviously, great reviews, cleanliness etc. factor into a choice. Beyond the obvious criteria, I have found a huge element that can affect the vacation experience. This is not just a good host, but in this case, a great one! Far too many extra touches to list, creating an overall comfort that goes beyond physical comfort. We love this property and appreciate all the incredible effort that makes staying here so magical. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here, don't hesitate!

Very open but warm place to host a large family with a kitchen equipped with everything imaginable!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay with our extended family in July. The house is lovely, with open spacious rooms, stunning views of the ocean and forest and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and work or study. We enjoyed the Manzanita location & took day trips to the many small towns and North Coast beaches. The property manager (Renae) was a pro and answered all our questions in detail, giving us plenty of options for activities & restaurants. There's a great kitchen and outdoor grill which we loved as we like to cook together. Overall, highly recommend!

15 family members ages 6mos to 73 yrs gathered for a week at this spacious home plus an adjacent contemporary home offered by the same owner. From our initial inquiries through our stay the owners host Renae attended to our every need , including organizing a chef for several dinners & arranging for added housekeeping services mid-stay. Renae’s guest information binders were comprehensive & up-to-date. Both homes are spacious, elegant & well organized with well equipped kitchens, bedrooms, baths & laundry. Vehicle access via a quiet semi-private road with ample parking & convenient access to the nearby beach. The quaint seaside town of Manzanita is a short walk away with an eclectic range of cafes, restaurants, galleries, & shops. Private & public spaces are well maintained with many gardens proudly on display in early June. Highly recommended for holiday seekers of all ages!

This is a modern house that feels isolated because it sits on a hilltop surrounded by Sitka spruce with views of the ocean below and sunset beach it is close to Manzanita and Cannon beach as well as many hikes in the area. This home was absolutely perfect for our family spring break. The view from both of the primary bedrooms on the second level it’s absolutely magical to wake up to with the trees and the ocean, I feel like I truly was nourished by my surroundings. The kitchen was as well stocked as my own in regard to cooking supplies, not necessarily food, but every kind of pan, bowl and small appliance you could possibly want. It made preparing meals, easy, and efficient. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back and stay here again.

We've come back to this property year after year. It's a beautiful, well-maintained property that hasn't declined at all over the years. It has space for children but it's ideal for us as an adult getaway—4 rooms with big bed and multiple ensuite luxury bathrooms. I haven't been to any other property that matches the modern style of this home. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

My extended family, ranging from age 6 to age 87, stayed here to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. This was the perfect place: well-designed and fully equipped kitchen with a 180-degree view of the ocean; lots of space to lounge for kids and football fans; comfortable bedrooms with bathrooms that accommodated 1 grandmother, 2 couples, 2 adult children, and 2 small children. The house is beautifully situated and designed with attention to every detail. We all enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fire. It is a short walk down hill to the beach and about a mile walk to town. (You do have to walk back up the hill, but the view is worth it). Renae, the property manager was extremely helpful. She even took photos of the kitchen gear to make sure we had what we needed to cook our Thanksgiving feast. And Eva, the owner, brought us a a huge box of chocolates. Rent this place if you can, it is one of a kind special. I hope we will be back.

We've stayed at this property multiple times with our family - it's a stunning location with views of the ocean and trees. Excellent property manager and communication. Always provides a superb experience in Manzanita. We look forward to returning again soon!

The property was stunning tucked away in the trees with awesome views of the ocean. The hot tub and firepit were great features and overall the house had everything we needed. Great host as well! We would love to come back again!

Our family just finished our stay at the property and it was very hard to leave! Really can't recommend it enough. The home is nicely equipped, super clean, and well-represented by the photos in the listing. Deck with fire pit and hot tub were perfect (the cleanest hot tub we've ever seen). The location is secluded, but with easy access to food shopping, restaurants, the beach, and good hiking spots. Renae, the property manager, was very responsive to our inquiries pre-stay. We didn't have any issues to raise during our stay. It was more than spacious for our family of four, and would be ideal for bigger families or friends traveling together. We are already talking about going back.

Modern house situated up a steep hill in a private setting, surrounded by hemlock, with very pretty eyelash views of the ocean and beach. Great quiet neighborhood, lovely deck. This place was bigger than we needed, but we cooked the entire time and I appreciated the large modern kitchen and the cleanest gas grill that I have ever used at a rental. Only suggestion to owner would be to install blinds. When I was cooking in the kitchen at sunset wore sunglasses as I faced west. No blinds upstairs in bedrooms. It does face west, so sun in the morning is not directly shinning into the bedroom. Overall a great place to stay.

Gorgeous, well equipped home with amazing views and ocean acoustics. Renae, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. Enjoyed the deck views, the fire pit and hot tub in the evenings after hiking multiple spots along the beautiful Oregon coast. Highly recommended!

This was our third time staying at this exceptional property and we plan to return every year. It is a very special experience.

A beautiful and tranquil setting--with lovely views of the ocean, the roar of the surf, and tall trees providing privacy. All complemented by a beautifully designed and maintained house, with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. And Renae is a great host, who quickly returns calls and emails.

This is a beautiful property, stocked with everything you need. I loved the close access to the beach and ocean views but tucked away from the busy street and people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for two families with our kids. The property manager gave us so much good information about the area and was very responsive and kind of we had any requests. We would stay here again!

Exceeded expectations and closer to the beach than we expected. Views of the beach from most rooms, and loved being in the trees also. Beautifully decorated and fully stocked. Good communication with property manager. Hope we can return soon!
