Easy parking for multiple vehicles

This was a perfect place for our trip to visit SFSU Everything we needed was readily available, ample parking on the street. An added bonus was we were just a block away from the Muni rail, which made heading into the city a lot easier! Beds were comfortable and the house was well furnished and felt like our home away from home.

Great (and large) place if you are looking to stay in the Sunset area of SF. Ample parking if you have a car. Quiet neighborhood.

Excellent host who was very communicative. He did come to the property daily to ensure it was clean - but stopped when we expressed discomfort with it. He provided us with recommendations for things to do in the area.

My sibling reunion couldn’t have been more enjoyable. Jerry was super communicative and attentive. Plenty of room for all of us.The location was walking distance to the beach (beautiful sunsets) and fabulous restaurants. Good parking. I would stay here again and I recommend this home.

The home was very clean with plenty of supplies and everything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and would come back again. We felt very much at home there and the host was very attentive and responsive.

Great location and great house.

Jerry was generously informative, helpful, responsive. Fine comfortable house in a quiet safe location. Public transportation nearby (once you are oriented). If you are on foot it's a bit of a ways to groceries and dining. (Also, two bus transfers to get around the Park to Legion of Honor so Lyft was more convenient.) A friend and I enjoyed our four days for art very much!

The Cheerful House is perfectly accommodating, very easy to live in. The bathrooms are well stocked and suited for multiple people to comfortably use. We appreciated the kitchen and the roomy space for us to cook, eat, and clean up. While there is no washing machine, it was not a deal breaker by any means! With public transportation readily accessible we could go anywhere we wanted with ease, whether shopping or going out for sightseeing, the Cheerful House fit the bill nicely. Our host Jerry sent me a link for an event near the ferry building that we attended, and thoroughly enjoyed; we would have never known about the World of Dumplings if he hadn’t sent me the link, unbidden. Bravo Jerry!

Beautifuly kept and spacious. The perfect spot to stay for our family weekend to the San Francisco. Parking was easy and the neighborhood was easy to get around. Love how close we were to the ocean and public transportation. Great location for morning runs! The host is quick to answer questions and was very helpful with information before and thoughout our stay.We would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending to our friends!

Our host, Jerry, is most accommodating and very helpful. Not only did he make us feel comfortable in the home, but he also provided insights on the neighborhood and good places to eat. We can’t say enough good things about Jerry’s hospitality. It is apparent the pride he has taken to make sure we were well taken care of.The rental is located in the Outer Sunset and despite the proximity to Sunset Blvd, was quiet and safe especially in the evening. Beds are very comfortable and made us feel right at home. We were visiting our son, who lived in the neighborhood, which made it very convenient. We will definitely come back whenever we come to visit San Francisco. You should too!!!

What a great spot! Jerry was an excellent host, extremely communicative and thorough with pre-arrival information, which made check-in easy. He responded quickly to my questions and even provided great recommendations on things to do and places to eat during our stay. The property was well lit, very safe, and in a fantastic neighborhood. Travel to and from the property was a breeze, with the Muni stop just a two-minute walk away. My family loved the stay, and we will definitely book again when we return to San Francisco. We could not be more pleased!

Great place to stay! Location is super close to the beach and Golden Gate Park, which worked perfectly for out planned activities. The house is adorable - my kids especially loved it. The convenient and free parking is great. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We got to SF earlier than planned and he let us check in early. Thanks for a great stay!

This house was excellent. The location was just over a city block away from the light rail and buses. We used the excellent SF transportation system to go downtown and then the Golden Gate bridge. The house was very clean and quiet. Jerry, the host, communicated well in advance of arrival and gave us a good run down of the house when we arrived. Thanks.

Great place!

Great location, close to so many fantastic SF sights. Jerry was easy to communicate with and helped us as needed. Parking was easy, the house had plenty of space for all 5 of us, and we all enjoyed our stay.

We spent one night before heading to the airport. Host was super helpful, met us on check in showed us the ropes. You can tell the property has been well taken care of with modern lighting and updated style. Super clean, comfy beds. Very nice! Accommodated our family of 7 comfortably.

Overall a positive stay. East access, clean and comfortable beds. Improvements can be made in the back garden, I'm sure his neighbors don't appreciate him much. I was looking forward to a backyard BBQ but the whole back garden is overgrown. I was sort of expecting a washer, if not a drier, but wasn't to be. The flusher in the master gets stuck so you have to make sure it snaps back in place. There wasn't a salad bowl which we found curious. Ok therwise a well stock kitchen with decent amount of seasonings.

Great place to stay in San Francisco with easy on street parking, grocery stores and great restaurants within walking distance. Close to public transportation. Home itself is very clean and updated with everything you need for a home away from home. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Jerry's place. Before arrival, communication was excellent, and his instructions for check-in were clear with accompanying photos. His home is in a great location with parking available right in front. The home is clean and well-furnished with all the comforts of home. Beds were super comfortable. We look forward to staying at Jerry's the next time we're in SF!

Jerry the owner was a very gracious host and helped in every aspect of our stay without being TOO involved. He gave us tips on the places to see in and around our Sunset District area, plus San Francisco itself. He couldn’t be more kind and the house was great with everything we needed and clearly marked labels on electrical switches. It’s a short walk to the beach and supermarkets as well as restaurants & coffee shops. The beds were super comfortable along with a quiet neighborhood made for some restful sleeping after active days. We will definitely be going back as we travel to the Bay Area often. This house was lovely! Cozy, beds, cozy temperature. It had all the amenities we needed and games to spend a nice evening playing chess, pick up sticks, and cards as a family. Easy parking, quiet location. You won’t regret!

Had a wonderful time with family and friends staying at this home for our trip. Jerry the owner checked in with us before getting to the site to ensure we were setup for easy access. He also shared great tips for using the public transportation and some great spots to visit that truly enhanced our time in the city. We had one minor issue with the Master shower water handle and Jerry was prompt in troubleshooting for us and getting a solution in place. The home was beautiful and accommodated our needs throughout our week stay. The home was 2 streets down from the L line and a few streets away from multiple other bus routes to get us around the city. Highly recommend this property and Jerry!

This home was simply put, incredible. The property is exactly as-is described and listed online: 3 spacious rooms with clean and comfortable beds, and 2 very nice, modern and updated bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and this neighborhood is incredibly safe. Most importantly, the homeowner Jerry is an incredible host. He will tell you all of the check-in details you need to know (entry, street parking, etc) and will help with any other questions on San Fran if you were like us and were visiting. I stayed with 6 of my friends during spring break for 4 nights. Jerry was responsive and answered all my questions about the property. There were 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms (one master bedroom, two other bedrooms with two beds each) which worked very well for us and gave everyone a place to sleep without making anyone sleep on a sofa bed. The property was beautiful and very clean. There were towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and there was enough utensils and cups and things for us while we were there. The listing is accurate to how the house was. The living room was spacious and we could watch movies together. We parked on the street which was fine since there was a lot of room. We were able to get around by bus and train the entire time we were there (about half a hour one way) since the location is around the things we wanted to do. I highly recommend the house, we had a great time.

Very comfortable home in a great location in San Francisco. The host was kind enough to help us unload the car, which was wonderful when we had a grumpy baby on arrival. He gave a quick tour and showed us where the baby accessories were. He put the crib together in the room my daughter chose and was very nice. We had a great stay and enjoyed our downtime at the house.

We had a great time staying in San Fran, despite a rainy weekend! This place was as described. House was very roomy, had everything we needed. It was in a great location - safe, close to the beach (we walked, about 15 min), Golden Gate Park, transit, etc. Host communicated exceptionally well. No complaints, would stay again for sure.

Unit was beautiful in a great and safe neighborhood. L trolley to downtown is 5 min walk. Great area to jog. Owner was super friendly and easy to deal with. A true pleasure.

A perfect place for my family to stay for the week. There were 4 adults and one 4 year old - there were even toys for him to play with! The living room was super spacious, it was on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood even though it appears to be in a major road. Jerry was super responsive and incredibly kind and generous. It even felt like a real home, as opposed to many rental homes that feel cold and vacant. Overall, a great experience!

My family gathered in San Francisco to celebrate my Mother’s birthday. We chose this house due to the size and location. We were happy with the home and clear communication from the owner. Will definitely book next time we are in the city!

Jerry was a great host, the home was so spacious and met my families overnight trip needs. We took advantage of the wonderful kitchen and living room and rested well in the quiet neighborhood. There was a farmers market in walking distance so I happily went to that in the morning before we checked out.

We were met by the owner the first night and he was quite lovely and helpful. There are stairs that you have to climb to get in the front door, so something to keep on mind if you have a disability. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Parking in San Francisco can be interesting no matter where you are and here is no different. We used public transit mostly, which was super convenient from here because there is a metro line a block or so away. The owner was a wonderful resource while we were there if needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

The place was perfect for our 4 adults . Lots of great space to hang out and the bedrooms were perfect for our space when sleeping . The place was stocked with tea and coffee and very clean . The host Jerry was so helpful in sharing a map and information to get around in the trains easily ! Loved the location for a quick walk to the beach for a beautiful sunset and early morning runs! On the way to the beach, there is a few restaurants and coffee houses ! We just loved our stay here! We will stay again next time we are in San Fran! Thanks Jerry !

We loved our stay in Cheerful-House. The house is very comfortable for a family of four and is very centrally located. Jerry is an exceptional host who met us upon check-in. He had great recommendations for the area, and answered all questions quickly. We would definitely book this house again if back in the area.

The home was very clean, spacious, and had just about anything you could need! We loved how much character the home had. I took my kids for a walk around the neighborhood at sunset and there were many others out walking as well, we felt very safe. Very convenient location, all of the tourist spots were a short drive away. Parking was easy, right across the street from the home. Would definitely stay here again, the host was wonderful!

The home is actually more spacious than expected and the kitchen is fully equipped with anything you need, including oil, spices, tea, ziploc bags... I have a 2 year old toddler and she had lots of fun running around the house. There were some provided kid toys on the shelf that instantly grasped her attention to make her feel happy.. I recommend this home. Nice location with ocean breeze and easy parking.

This place a awesome very clean. All the amenities needed we only stayed 1 day but i wish we would have been able to stay the whole weekend here. Easy to check in. The beds were super comfy. There was 5 of us an plenty of room.

We stayed for a full week at this lovely, well-supplied home. The kitchen and the bathroooms had everything we needed, and beds and linens were very comfortable. The parking and neighborhood was safe and quiet. We walked to the beach multiple times (about 15 mins) and enjoyed collecting rocks, sand dollars, shells and watching dogs with their owners. The location was not too far from tourist attractions (3o mins) so the drive time was manageable. Our host was incredibly responsive with suggestions for sight-seeing and dining.
