Reviewer Comments: The property was exactly as described on the website and in great shape. we had a water issue that the property manager addressed right away. The golf carts were all charged, there were enough chairs and beach umbrellas for all. We loved the music night at Lenrose on Thursday. It was a little more remote than we thought it would be, not understanding the travel time on the Queen's Highway.

The accommodations were great for our large group - the main lodge provided enough room for our large group time and meals. Matt, Brett, and the entire team were super responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

The house - Very comfortable and well appointed with incredible sea views. The Starlink highspeed Internet was blazing fast for us to work remotely and enjoy Netflix. We had a few very minor issues that Brett the property manager took care of immediately. Brett is an amazing person and resource giving us valuable insights from car rentals, grocery stores, restaurants and sightseeing. The golf carts are a great addition to ferry back and forth from the incredible Atlantic beach. The brand new pickleball court looks great. The sand and water!Buttonwood is centrally located on the island, so it's a convenient spot to explore all that Eluthera has to offer.

They even retrieved and opened a fresh coconut for me!The only complaint I have is the condition and working order of the golf carts. The first cart we used had no working brakes and the second cart died on the trail to the Atlantic beach. but overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

We spent more time exploring the many nearby beaches and also took a boating tour with Captain Kid and Son, which was a highlight of the trip. Our favorite nearby beach was Gaulding Cay. Buttonwood is the perfect mid-island location for exploring all the wonders of Eleuthera. There are so many beautiful things to see, and it was perfect to come home to a comfortable, well-appointed condo in the evenings. I can't recommend Buttonwood enough!

The property’s best feature is it’s location. Being near the center of Eleuthera made it easier to explore the entire island. Brett, the manager, was prompt to respond to any communication from us, and always with a smile.

They could not have been more helpful. The materials and Welcome Letter were extremely useful and a good resource for the island of Eleuthera. The onsite property manager was also very service oriented.The beach was absolutely beautiful and very private, complete with a shipwreck to view. Having access to the gulf carts made it easy (and fun!) to haul all the young children and sand toys to the beach. (A bonus was all the beach toys and beach chairs stowed on site which was all available for use.)Overall, there were some issues with maintenance, which the onsite property manager attempted to address in a timely manner. One issue was the electrical circuits, which interrupted sleep at night. Every time the upstairs guest turned on their fans, the fans and lights in the downstairs unit automatically came on. If guests have different sleep schedules, the lights and fans coming on at various hours during the night can be disturbing. The frequent but usually short nocturnal power outages also interrupted sleep, not because of loss of electricity per se, but due to the noise created. Every time the power went out, the loss of electricity stimulated the safety alarm system which was stimulated again when the power came back on, resulting in being woken up by the flashing lights and alarms during the noturnal power outages.Finally, as noted in the property brochure, beware of the No-see-ums, as they present a lasting itchy memory of the time in Eleuthera! Question: Would we come back? Absolutely!!!

There was no hot water for baths or showers finallyrepaired 3 days before we left. Beach was not nice. Pool was in disrepair. Dangerous electrical light in the water.Golf cart not charged. No propane for grills. Brett tried to help. Pam was difficult.
