Gamboa is a very nice community along the Canal Zone area. Comfortable and furniture house is offered. It comes with four bedrooms (three double beds and one with double bed and two single). 2 bathroom, one with tube and shower, large kitchen totally fused and equipped, reception area, dining-living room, laundry area with washer and dryer machine, a nice yard, and a large deck. Stayed Dec 31, 2024Beautiful area, house had potential but was poorly up-kept. Property owner spoke no English, making it hard to understand the rules and workings of the property such as the laundry room downstairs. Full of mold, making it tough to breathe. Screens are damaged or warped, so insects swarm the home at night. Amenities are nearly nonexistent, such as no trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels or coffee filters. Heavy metals made the water unsafe to drink, yet no good water was provided. Outside deck was in bad repair. Mold was everywhere, even climbing up the window in the kitchen. There was not three bathrooms as advertised. The downstairs bathroom was in bad repair and lacked a seat for the toilet. Furniture was wet and moldy. Upstairs shower leaked though the floor into the kitchen. Kitchen appliances where filthy. However, the views where spectacular with the tropical plants and birds. Saw both Geoffroy's Tamarins and a sloth outside in our stay. Would have been a wonderful place if it was up-kept better.

Stayed Jun 25, 2023We absolutely loved our stay in Gamboa! There were so many outdoor activities in the area and it was close to Panama City. The house was large with plenty of space for us to spread out or be together. The lower patio was a wonderful place to spend an afternoon in the hammock reading or watching the rain fall. Jorge and Omar were very responsive and provided us with whatever we asked for. Thank you Jorge!

Stayed Dec 21, 2019There is 3 bedrooms, not 4 and 3 full sides beds. 1-1/2 baths, unless you use one below house. Daughter fell through rotten boards on the deck, fan lights stopped working. Home needs some upgrading, but Jorge was a wonderful host, who did his best to help out when things went wrong. His yard is amazing.
