The house is so warm and cozy and inviting. The owners are sweet people they have a shareable pantry that is awesome. Also leave the house with majority of the essentials

Home was exactly as written and pictured. My two week stay was very comfortable. Nice safe neighborhood. Space to be outside. Close to everything. Active in the park right next door made it feel like home.

Super cute house. Small kitchen but well equipped. There is also a HUGE pantry area with several tables you could use for prepping if needed. Large dining table and a living room with 2 couches fornplenty of space. Upstairs bathroom is very small but convenient for nighttime use, while the downstairs bathroom is huge with a great showerhead/tub. Cute park across the alleyway. The baseball fields and tennis courts are the closest and it was very quiet while we were there. Great neighborhood for walking around in, and close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Mankato.

Home had everything we needed, was in a good location, and was very clean. We have stayed there before and would definitely stay again.

I like the house and had a nice stay. The pickelball courts across the street were busy the whole time, and the park lights were on as late as 11:30 p.m. one night. Some blackout curtains in the bedroom would be nice.

The Rustic Retreat was very quaint and a perfect fit for my wife and I, and our daughter and son-in-law. We were in town right after Christmas to visit our other daughter and family. In spite of a blizzard that came out of nowhere, we still enjoyed our stay.

Everything was very well maintained and fully stocked for our needs. Plenty of space and a very nice neighborhood.

This house was just perfect for my stay in Mankato. A cozy home appointed nicely.

An older home in need of some minor repairs (handrail, doorknobs), but clean and comfortable. Plenty of nice, large towels. Fine for a one-night stay, although it could use room-darkening window treatments to keep out light from the park nextdoor.

This was a lovely stay in a very nice area! The host was very attentive and we had a very positive experience staying at this house!

Clean. Had all we needed.

Over all the stay was great. Unfortunately we came back to no A/C which made our last evening and night pretty uncomfortable in a 80 degree house. We left early due to the A/c being out. Besides the A/c issue the house was cute, the host was accommodating and we enjoyed our stay.

Just right for our needs. Located half way between the main business district and downtown so it is easy to get everywhere. It is located in a quiet neighborhood next to a park so it is peaceful and relaxing.

We really loved our stay in Mankato. The house is lovely and well appointed The bed was very comfortable and each bathroom was nice. The lock codes worked as described and the alleyway access was well explained.The only aspect of the kitchen that we used was a few dishes and the coffee maker -- but perfect for us on this trip. We walked to downtown Mankato from the house. It was a nice walk of 20 minutes to the restaurant we wanted to eat at. The only thing that confused us about the house was the shared pantry and sodas/waters in the refrigerator. We did not find a description of charges for these items -- or were they free? We came supplied with a few snacks and beverages so it did not matter. We did not use the TV setup so I have no opinion.WiFi worked well and the password was given to us.

This was perfect for a quick stay to attend MSU orientation with my son. Neighborhood is super quiet. We will be back

We loved that there was a park right up the block for the kids to go to! Central to anything we wanted to go for our stay.

Stayed here for a softball tournament instead of a hotel, and so glad we did! From check in to check out, everything was great- easy check in, great communication from host, clean house, nice neighborhood- it was perfect.

Great homey house, very clean! Warm and cozy,m. Kitchen had pots and pans, but will need to bring all your own spices, oil, etc. would stay again.

Property was exactly as stated it would be. Easy access and location. Easy and smooth communication with the property owner. Even had ice trays in the freezer which was my comfort of home! Definitely will stay here again!!
