Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good place to stay temporarily for the nights our other cabin guy was booked. Kitchen well stocked with lots of places to put groceries. Best of Canaan staff were so helpful to find this for us.

Stayed Nov 22, 2022We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was cold when we first got there so we called and before we even had our bags unpacked they had someone there to fix it! Very cozy vacation!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house with a few glitches. The downstairs TV had no remote and could not be used. The hot tub took a very long time to warm up but did eventually. Spots on the couch were not clean, but overall an ok experience.

The house is spacious and comfortable. The back deck provides a lovely setting for dinner, or just relaxing. The built-in hot tub is a nice feature. The location provides easy access to most Canaan Valley sites.

This was our third summer vacation in Canaan Valley and our accommodations were excellent. The rental unit was very clean. The staff was very cordial and responded to our requests on a very timely manner.

Stayed Mar 30, 2021Nice area. Property needs some work. The hot tub cannot maintain temperature. Drops about 1 degree every 15 mins. Borderline unusable. Kitchen counters were dirty. Missing or limited staples (garbage bags, foil, cleaning supplies, etc). Furniture is very old and worn. Bunk bed ladder is dangerous and needs repaired. All said, some relatively inexpensive fixes could make this place much better. Will not be back.

Stayed Feb 20, 2021We really enjoyed the open floor plan of this property for our family of five. The conveniently located laundry room was great to store our winter boots and ski outerwear. The kitchen was well stocked. The upstairs loft was a great place for the older children to hang out. Wish the tv was a little bigger and cable was more clear but we didn’t really spend much time watching tv so it didn’t matter. Conveniently located to ski at Timberline. We had a wonderful stay!
