Stayed May 26, 2025House was great for our group. The front and side porches were so so dirty and really need a good deep clean.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024Ok, good things first. Great space and location. Plenty of beds and bedrooms. Nicely done bathrooms and furniture. The game room was a lot of fun. The one bedroom in the front of the house is not really a bedroom, not sure who would be comfortable sleeping there so I would consider this functionally a 5 bedroom house. The beds did vary in comfort, so were much better than others. The TV in the main living room is not usable as it is older and cannot download any updated apps. There seems to be a Roku stick on it but there was no power cord or remote to go with it. The kitchen needs updating badly, along with the bar / TV area cabinetry in the main living room. The wine fridge door at the bar does not close so it is not usable. The knobs on the cooktop in the island are totally stripped out so that is also unusable. The cabinets, drawers and pantry are aged to the point that they don't smell very pleasant. The old bread holder in one drawer is downright gross. The fridge is a nice size but could have been cleaner. The kitchen was reasonably stocked but all of the cookware / pots / pans / accessories are showing their age. Plenty of dishes and utensils but only 2 wine glasses in the whole place. All of that said we had a great time and hope to return but probably would look for a different house. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house is great for a large group….fun game room, lots of porches and places to hang out. The location is perfect as its literally across the street from the beach entryway and close to the pools and snack bar too. As much as we loved our time together at Family Tides, I have to share that this house needs a thorough cleaning very badly. The windowsills were all filthy on the inside with dead bugs on almost every window, the porches were covered in sand and dead bugs, many of the pieces of furniture were covered in dust and there was garbage and dust bunnies under almost all of the beds. The shower and laundry area downstairs by the back stairs was almost too dirty to use as their were dead bugs everywhere and the shower and floors were totally sandy, as well as the stairs leading up to the back entryway. The ping pong table only had one paddle so couldn't be used either. The Keurig machine was broken and we had to call Maintenance as the doorknob into the Kids bedroom was broken and resulted in 4 of us getting locked in! All of this should have been noticed by your House cleaning crew prior to our arrival. We understand that the house is rented week after week, but I think it is fair to expect a clean home in working order when you arrive for your stay. I don't want to only share our issues as we had a fabulous time in Debordieu and we will be back. I simply feel that these are all issues that can be fixed and for the weekly rental fee that we paid our expectations were that the house would be clean.
