Stayed Sep 15, 2025We brought our own tubes and went down the chute just down from the house. Next time I will bring my paddle board. Water is not a rapid flow (except the chute).

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Amazing location right on the Comal river. Great access to the water, and then back yard leading to the river was like a nature retreat, so many deer. we felt tucked away from the other cottages with privacy on the porch. Only issue was the AC took a long time to cool off at the end of a 100 degree day, but once it did it was perfectly cold and house was nice and dark for sleeping in. Random issue - the beep on the fire alarm started going off at 4am and I had to remove it from the house, but that happens when batteries go out - just unfortunate timing. Overall, we would stay again and recommend this for a nice river getaway!
