Stayed Sep 21, 2025The property was fine. Better communication would have been nice. It was concerning that maintenance was allowed into our rental while we were gone to the beach with no prior notice or contact. We have an elderly little dog and thank goodness we had him with us. He likes to dash out when door is opened and gets scared easily. Only found out because a text was sent to me after the fact. We had to leave a family dinner and rush back to our rental. This is after we were promised no more interruptions of our vacation due to a broken refrigerator that had to be replaced on our first day after arrival. Also, my experience with VRBO and the host was not acceptable. I reached out to the host and VRBO several times over several days with no response. Talked to a VRBO representative that promised they would get back to me after several attempts to contact host with some issues. I have never had this happen before. Usually when I reach out to the host, I receive a timely response, and any issues are resolved in a timely matter. I have not received an explanation or apology, nothing still to this day. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
