Coastal home with three decks, outdoor shower, AC, & W/D - near beach

Hoping to book for next year too! Great updates, layout was perfect. Location to beach was awesome!

This was our 2nd time staying here, and we love it! Lots of room for parking, very spacious and clean inside with an open concept kitchen and living area, and close to the beach. It was nice to store chairs, umbrellas, etc in the sunroom and have outdoor deck space on all levels as well. Some things you might want to bring along: oven mitts, bag clips, scissors, coffee filters, foil, ziplock bags or tupperware containers for storage, spices. Some places I've stayed have provided these things but we had to run to the nearby Dollar General to purchase these items. Overall it was a great stay and we plan to come back next year.

We enjoyed everything abut this house. Very clean, well decorated and close to all we enjoyed.

The house was great! What we didnt know was that the high tide would flow into the drive way and we would have to drive into 6 of 8 inches of water to get out.

I picked this house because of closeness to beach. About 3 weeks before leaving I find out there are huge sandbags at the end of the street. Didn't want to climb over them , so we drove to other beach accesses. There is not many pots and pans, and everything sticks in the pans. We didn't cook at house much due to lack of pans. The bed pillows are very flat, might want to take your own.

We stayed again this year at the Holiday House and absolutely loved it. The house’s close proximity to the beach in Buxton, comfortable accommodations, and great set-up with several porches/fantastic outdoor shower make this a lovely home to stay in while vacationing at Cape Hatteras. It has remained very clean and very well-taken care of. Our family loves the National Seashore, which is within walking/biking distance of the house. We also met the owners this year, who are absolutely lovely. This house can easily accommodate a few more folks, but it is absolutely perfect for our family of three. We will be back!

This was a cute house with lots of space right next to everything you need! We walked to the beach, dinner, grocery store and souvenir shops. We were a little surprised there were only 2 umbrellas and no other beach equipment, but luckily we brought our own chairs. The only other complaint was just the lack of towels. There were 6 of us and only a few towels there so that was kind of annoying at times especially when everyone came back from the beach ready for showers! Other than that, we’d definitely come back and stay here again, the area was great!

This is a well appointed home with nautical theme. All amenities worked well. Private beach access was great. The sun room was a great place to hangout.

The house was clean and simple. It covered all of our needs. Small issue with a broken shower that was resolved but it required all of those staying to share a single shower for a day.
