Coastal Cottage w/ Roof Deck Ocean Views - York, ME 4 Beds, 3 Baths, Sleeps 9

This beautiful, sun-drenched home was the perfect place to spend a long weekend with family. The roof deck and neighborhood beach offered spectacular views while the house layout provided large inviting space for hanging out together as a group, as well as many nooks and crannies for private time. The house was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated. The host, Paul, was incredibly generous, welcoming, and attentive to detail. He even provided welcome gifts for our two young grandchildren and a beautiful gift bag of treats for adults. This Vrbo home exceeded our expectations.

We rented this property for an annual girls trip. It is a nicely furnished home in a quiet neighborhood. The pictures of the property are an accurate reflection of what is depicted in the VRBO listing. Paul is a great host who greeted us with a nice welcome basket full of many goodies. Paul also provided many suggestions on local attractions. We enjoyed the slippers and robes that were provided in each bedroom. It was an easy drive to Ogunquit, York, Kittery, etc. This home would be difficult for anyone that had issues with going up and down stairs.

So lovely!! Great house for a large group, lots of room to spread out, we enjoyed both decks. A short (15 min) drive from York and Ogunquit.

The house was perfect for our three-generation family of 6 adults and 3 children (ages 5-7). The kitchen was very well equipped -- the owner even provided a rice cooker for the rice-loving grandchildren, and when the neighborhood electric power went out for 3 hrs, emergency LED light switches were readily accessible in each bedroom closet. We took advantage of the two decks to grill meats and eat Off the Boat lobsters outdoors. Don't hesitate to stay in this lovely cottage.

Great property, plenty of room for our family of 8 adults and 3 children. The property had everything we needed and was very clean. The location was convenient to both York and Ogunquit. The host, Paul, was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this property

We had a group of 8 women celebrating 25 years of friendship together being in the same bookclub. The Mainely Away house was beautiful and Paul was a very gracious host. We had two people sleep in each room, and it was very nice to have 3 bathrooms. We had a wonderful vacation and spent time in Ogunquit and York- which was an easy 10 minute drive. We flew into Boston and it was an hour and 40 minute drive to the VRBO. I highly recommend staying in this VRBO.

The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The rooftop area is fantastic. The host is very welcoming and thoughtful with lots of nice touches including a very nice welcome basket.

The house is not beachfront but enjoys an amazing rooftop patio from which we see the ocean. You do not pay beachfront price, but still enjoy the ocean. The house is really nice, clean, with many large rooms with their own AC. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable. The owner, Paul, was incredible from the arrival to the departure, always helpful and available. We strongly recommend.

Paul was an attentive and excellent host. He also left us a number of delicious local treats to enjoy while we were there. The home is lovely, beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and has truly everything you need for a wonderful vacation experience. The neighborhood is great and the views of the cove are spectacular! One of our favorite daily activities was to walk 2 minutes down our road to sit on the scenic rock beach. We would love to stay at Paul's home again!

This home exceeded all expectations for our family of 8. Our host, Paul, met us on arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about his lovely vacation home. He supplied us with a generous amount of local goodies on our arrival which we appreciated. The house was very comfortable and very nicely decorated with a Maine beach feel. Loved the kitchen which was fully stocked as were the bathrooms with all the amenities. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were great. The water view from the living area was everyone’s favorite but we spent many hours on the rooftop patio enjoying the quiet setting, the sunrise and evening views of the local Maine coast. I highly recommend this wonderful house! And thanks Paul for being there and available when we had questions. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Brian was a gracious host. The quality of the amenities in the house were great. The soaps, shampoo, towels, kitchen utensils, table settings were terrific. My favorite room was the rooftop deck overlooking the ocean.

This property was one of the best we have ever rented. Paul and his wife have thought of every little detail to make this rental amazing. Paul greeted us and showed us around the house. Everything is labeled, which was very helpful. The house was spotless and furnished beautifully. There are so many different locations in the house to sit and relax. Only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer. The location is also perfect secluded and quiet yet close to everything. Beds are all comfortable with very nice linens. You won’t go wrong staying here we can’t wait to go back. Thank you again.

We had an amazing Memorial Day weekend at Paul's place in Cape Neddick, Maine. Paul was a fantastic host and greeted us on our arrival with a very nice gift basket. We have rented many VRBO houses and this was by far the cleanest and best decorated. The house is in a very quiet upscale residential neighborhood with a nice yard. The place is one house removed from the Atlantic ocean and has great ocean views from the first floor living area. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a TV/play which was an ideal space for my daughter, son in law and 2 young grandchildren. The first floor has a bedroom and en suite bathroom which was very comfortable for us. The first floor kitchen and open area is very comfortable for lounging and meals. The kitchen is well stocked with very nice cook ware and appliances. AC is more than adequate throughout. The sun room is cooled by ocean breezes and impressive windows. We really enjoyed the ocean views and relaxing patio furniture on the roof deck. We spent all of our beach time at the Cape Neddick beach which is only a couple of minutes drive and very safe for the young kids. The York beach town area is just a very short drive from Paul's place. We look forward to a return stay at Paul's place in Cape Neddick.
