Stayed Jun 14, 2023We had a wonderful stay at this house located just off the main street in Nikko. The owner is very kind and responsive. It is a large house with three large bedrooms, a living room area, a separate full kitchen, large bathroom with washer, and lots of windows. I liked that the main living area is on the first floor (not the ground level) and the bedrooms are on the second level. The ground level is the garage. You do have to climb stairs to get in and out of the house but that wasn’t an issue for us. The house was very clean and had everything we could need. It is right in the middle of town so we could walk down to the train station or up to the world heritage sites. We also used the bus which runs frequently through town. The bus stop is about a minute walk from the house. We would definitely rent this house again if we get a chance to return to Nikko.
