The Space:
Attractive, brilliant, and meticulous are three words that best describe this well designed vacation home loaded with curb appeal. Located on a quiet side lane off of Main St in Harwich, you will be just a short walk or bike ride to the Cape Cod Rail Trail (0.3 mile), Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands (0.7 mile), and Sand Pond Beach (1 mile), and a short drive from the Village of Harwich Port and beautiful Nantucket Sound Beaches, including Earle Road Beach (2.1 miles), Grey Neck Beach (2.2 miles) and Bank Street Beach (3.2 miles).
The main floor of the home, with beautiful pine floors throughout, features a sun filled living room with comfortable sofa and armchair seating in front of a flat screen smart TV with cable service, a fully appointed eat-in kitchen with granite countertops, marble backsplash, a breakfast bar, and a majority of stainless steel appliances including a gas range. The master bedroom is also located on the first floor, featuring a king bed, smart TV with cable, and a private en suite full bathroom, as well as another half bathroom with a stacked full size washer and dryer.
Walk up the stairs to the second floor, with oak floors throughout, where you will find a loft area with a futon, two spacious bedrooms, including one with a queen bed and the other with twin bunk beds, and another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The home features a central A/C system that keeps the entire house cool and comfortable during those hot summer days and nights.
The outdoor spaces are beautiful and likely where you will spend much of your time. There is a 16’ x 16’ mahogany deck with a nice wooden patio set and propane grill connected to an enclosed Trex outdoor shower, and surrounded by a spacious private grassy yard - a great space to run around and play yard games. At night, take a seat in one of the Adirondack chairs and spend some time together around the fire pit. Other amenities include a smart lock for self check-in and easy access throughout your stay, and sheets and bath towels provided at no additional cost with beds made upon your arrival.

The Neighborhood:
Oceanside
The house and the neighborhood, was just perfect! Very clean, very well stocked, and very comfortable. Located on a quiet street close to the main town, it certainly made our visit to the cape a memorable one. Would highly recommend the house, as well as del mar property management- they were incredibly helpful and responsive.
We would absolutely stay in this home again! Extremely clean offering all the comforts of home and thoughtful touches. Everything you could need has been provided and the setting is perfect in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. 5 stars!
This was a great house in a quiet neighborhood. We were in town for a wedding and this was a great location, close to everything. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication with the property manager was great. We would stay here again without hesitation.
The house was lovely clean and bright. We enjoyed our stay with easy access to the bike trail and short ride to stores.
We have been vacationing in the Harwich/Chatham area for the last 10 years and this home was one of our favorites! The home was spotless, lovely coastal decor and very well appointed kitchen! Location was quiet and private and close to Earle Rd beach which we frequent. Central A/C was a definite bonus. Perfect size for our family of five. Fantastic stay, we will definitely book again!
Quiet neighborhood, private yard. The house has all you need!
We loved staying in this property on Cape Cod. SPOTLESS! Lovely! Convenient! Comfortable beds. Love the deck and yard. Love all the bright natural light. Quiet, pretty neighborhood. Beautiful yard. You can hear the birds sing. It was hard to leave! We hope we can visit again.
TLDR; The nicest Cape house I have ever stayed in. Will be back next year, I hope! The Long Story: My wife and I have being going to the Cape for the past 17 years as our get away spot. We have stayed in Hotels, Motels, Rental Houses through Real-estate companies, and several through VRBO as it grew in popularity. This place by far blew them away. Most Cape houses are furnished in a, shall we say, second-hand chic. It can range from charming and functional, to some houses we stayed in that you could call Worn out and Gross. This house, was nothing like that. It was furnished deliberately and with style. Everything felt thought out, coordinated, and just beautiful. The house itself was IMPECCABLY cleaned, Del Mar does an fantastic job. The appliances were nice, not just afterthoughts. Plenty of bathrooms and bed rooms. The beds themselves were decent (if firm), but they are not beaten down yet and you wont roll out if them. There is two things to be aware of: The first floor Master Bedroom is BRIGHT. Really bright first thing. It has blinds, and sheer curtains, which do not do much to block the light. If you are like us, and need a dark room, recommend picking up some of those stick on temporary window shades from Amazon. If you are bringing an infant, there is no room for a crib in the Master Bedroom on the first floor. There is room on the second floor, which is also a darker room, but smaller bed. You CAN hear the baby through the floor, if he cries out though.
Great property and we really enjoyed our stay
The house was spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was only one block from the bike trail which was very convenient and a short drive to several beaches. We would definitely stay there again.
Such a great experience from start to finish! Renting through the Del Mar company was easy and they were quick to communicate. This pretty home had every thing we needed, plus a few extras. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics that made it easy to create meals at home. All of the beds were comfortable, and all of the furniture was new. There were plenty of linens, plus extra pillows and blankets. The garage was great for storing all of the stuff we brought with us. We took advantage of the deck to cook out, the outdoor shower, and the fire pit. It was so close to the bike trail we could ride to Harwich center for breakfast and lunch, the First Crush winery, and Sand Pond. The pond was great for swimming and using our paddleboards, and we enjoyed regular visits by an ice cream truck. Our kids are older (17,15, 12) and they each had space of their own. Our middle son is too big for the bunk bed, but the futon in it's own alcove gave him a comfortable place to stretch out. Harwich has a lot to offer and this house was central to all the fun. We will add it to our short list of properties to revisit!
We come to the cape every summer, and usually stay on the vineyard. Our kids are older now, and they get bored easily with little to do on MV, so we decided to stay on the cape instead. It’s safe to say this was the best decision ever, as the harwich house is now our hands down favorite vacation. The location in the mid cape is superb, and close to everything. The house itself is beautiful, quiet, and well stocked. Every day was a perfect day, and we can’t wait to go back!! You are just a short walk to the trail, a short drive to several beaches, minutes from the grocery store, and entertainment like bud’s go karts and miniature golf. Just can’t be beat!!! One note: we had 5 total in our party and I wouldn’t recommend more than that. The house is a little tight, but we didn’t notice it much with a beautiful back yard and privacy for everyone.
