Clearwater Home Away from Home

Close to Baycare Park and Clearwater beach.

We were given the wrong access code for the door upon arrival. No initial email for check-in process the access door lost power and we had to go replace batteries in it. Whatever was used to clean. The floors was very sticky on her feet. The house had a very bad smell to it that was being hidden by a strong chemical smell. Neighborhood did not seem the safest area uptown but nothing the owner can do about that. No checkout instructions were given. Overall the house looks like it was decorated from Goodwill. Beds were really uncomfortable. The sheets and pillowcases smelled horrible. we used our own clothes to sleep on. The dishwasher was broken and the property owner wanted me to get on a stream call with a repair man to walk me through how to fix it for them. I was out on a boat charter when the guy kept calling me to stream him to fix it. I don’t think that is the responsibility of the tenant to spend my time fixing the owner’s dishwasher. Overall, the house was not up to normal standard for a VRBO listing. Communication was very poor and would not recommend staying at this location.

5 of us were attending a softball tournament and this property was just what we needed. The four bedrooms are spacious and one has bunk beds. The living room and dining area were also large enough for a group. Additionally, there was plenty of room to park 2 full sized vehicles. The host, Crystal was very helpful and attentive. I would happily stay again.

Sparse cookware. Toaster, no bueno. Pots and pans inadequate for larger groups. Bed sheets and such were old and didn’t match. Not enough nightstands for occupants.If you need a place to crash, it will work.If you need a place to cook and do laundry, not great. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

This lovely ranch style home was our home base for spring training baseball. Close to everything. Great showers.

This house accommodated our entire family. Crystal responded right away to our questions.

This is a great property clean and very roomy. Check in was very easy. Crystal host was really helpful and responded our requests very quickly. It is easy and short drive to main Clearwater beach area. It also has ADT security system that is plus. We had a good time to stay there. Price was reasonable during July 4th weekend. Thanks again.
