Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. This is a diamond in the rough. It could be so much better. The house as well as the outdoor kitchen needs lots of repairs. Air conditioning is much needed for the outdoor building. The road going down is pretty rough.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the view and access to a quiet lake cove, great for little kids. Smith Lake rentals was very helpful and responsive about our stay, would highly recommend them over a third party. The property is down a very steep and badly maintained road with deep holes and wash outs. I would recommend a 4 wheel drive or lifted vehicle. It was pretty alarming and I was worried we couldn’t get back out. I think the listing should mention this so renters can prepare accordingly.

Stayed May 23, 2024Very nice place on a quite cove of the lake. Nice double decker dock. Everything was clean and well decorated. WIFi didn't work while we were there but we didnt care. Never turned on a TV or needed the WIFI the whole stay. We were out by the water or on our boat the whole time.
