Stayed Mar 30, 2026The place was very quiet and felt private in spite of being right off hwy 12. We had everything we needed, including kitchen items, and a heater & extra blankets for chilly mornings. It was clean and cozy.

Stayed Feb 14, 2026The place was underwhelming for the price, there was black ooze in the shower, all the dishes had to be washed before being used due to being dirty still. The studio was tiny and nice on the inside mostly, though the outside sure made you wonder if it was the right place. Overall, just alright.

Stayed Sep 10, 2025Like: clean, nice decor; comfortable bed, nice towels, good location for activities near Boulder. Did not like: no ice: leaky shower; unclear handwritten password for WiFi. Host did not respond with clear code until after we had checked out, stating it was in welcome letter which we did not receive

Stayed Apr 19, 2025Nice and quiet stay in Boulder, UT. Only 15-20 minutes from Lower Calf Creek Falls in Grand Staircase - Escalante Monument. Large studio apartment with kitchenette, comfy bed and privacy. The bathroom was a little tight and not as updated as the rest of the apartment, but overall we had a very nice stay.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024I liked the beautiful location and the safe feeling of the property. The shower was an abomination. The shower head was clogged and the shower door wouldn’t stay closed. You had to be inside the shower to turn it on which meant that you had to endure cold water for the first few minutes of the shower. The shower head was so clogged we couldn’t rinse the shampoo out of our hair. The shower could be easily fixed with a handheld.

Stayed May 28, 2026This is a very well organized, clean and comfortable cabin. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location yet conveniently close to the world class Hell's Backbone Grill restaurant (featured in the New Yorker magazine). It makes for a wonderful base camp for those wishing to explore the many beautiful back country trails in the area. I highly recommend it.

Stayed Apr 10, 2026Donna was extremely helpful and responded quickly to our questions! The house was very comfortable, and it was quiet, despite being located near the road. You will get the best sourdough bread at the gas station, the best coffee at Kiva, awesome places such as Hell Backbone Grill, breathtaking views of Escalante, Boulder..

Stayed Oct 10, 2025The location worked great for our planned hikes between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was good, which were our main requirements. But the place could have been a lot more comfortable if it had actual kitchen table instead of a 24 (?) round table and at least one night stand by the bed. Our laptop pretty much took up the kitchen table and there was no place to put anything even though the space was plenty big enough to fit those items. Also, it would be nice if the mini-fridge had a small freezer section.to be able to make ice or hold some ice cream. :-) It is a larger model and we had one that size that had a small freezer. I highly recommend picking up any grocery necessities at Clarks Market in Escalante or Chuck.Wagon Market in Torrey. Hills and Hollows Market next door to the studio seemed to be 30-40% higher and had a very limited selection.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025The studio was exactly as described. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The size of the refrigerator was adequate for my needs, although I did miss having a freezer to keep ice in (the mini market next door does sell ice, as well as other staples). While the appearance of the area (not the studio itself) may seem a little junky I never felt unsafe (over 65 woman traveling alone). It was very quiet. I would stay here again.

Stayed May 20, 2025The place is as described. Pretty basic and was good for what we needed. We chose to stayin Boulder because we heard yhe food options were great but they were all closed for the day or closed at 6pm, so that was a bust. Thankfully there was a food truck open or we would have not been able to eat dinner. The market that the room was close to closes at 7pm. Plan accordingly.

Stayed Mar 23, 2025Quiet and private. Just the way I like it. Very simple setup. Not good for any more than a single or a couple. Great location for exploring. One complaint is the shower. It is kinda small and the door doesn't easily latch so there is minor water spillage. Not a big deal

Stayed Nov 27, 2024Very cute little studio behind Hills and Hollow which was great when we needed a few last minute items! Very comfortable bed, nice view, and a great launching off point for your exploration in boulder. One note—do not lock the bottom lock! It is noted in the check-in instructions but no signage elsewhere so just another reminder here. Very cute, would stay again!

Stayed Sep 21, 2024The property was lovely and the bed comfy. There was a small issue with the shower door not staying latched which created a small easy to clean up water mess. AS per the title VRBO did not and still has not solved my issue with being able to log in on my phone VRBO app. I can log on on my laptop using the supplied access code. There phone app requires a password which i have. I did all the so called fixes VRBO's tech dept. asked of me with no resolve and have sent the screen shot of the Error which states: The operation couldn't be completed (Networking API.Networking Error error 0.)
