The Blue House is approximately 4 minutes from downtown Buena Vista and has easy access to Cottonwood Pass, both Mt. Princeton and Cottonwood Hot Springs, local Drive-In movie theater, hiking trails, rafting, horseback riding, fishing and many other outdoor adventures to be found in Buena Vista.
The property is near Cottonwood Creek and the sounds of the creek can be heard from the back yard from late May-end of the summer season (we do not have direct access to the creek). It is not

Stayed Mar 12, 2022The Blue House is the perfect place to stay. It is super clean, and was not lacking anything. If you love the look of the pictures, you will love it even more in person. The host is very responsive and super helpful. We would definitely book another stay at the Blue House.

Stayed May 8, 2026My wife, son and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The place was extremely clean and nice. The property had beautiful views of the mountains and the stream in the backyard was an added bonus. The house had a great setup for toddler (no shaper edges or things he could get into that he shouldn’t). We would definitely stay here again

Stayed Jul 11, 2025It’s a beautiful house, and very comfortable. Extremely clean. Also great location. My friends and I hiked to Mt. Elbert and it was only about an hour away. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it was a little warm at night and although I had a fan in my room, my friends did not have fans in their rooms. And we couldn’t figure out how to open the windows. If there was AC, we didn’t know how to work it. Other than that, no complaints.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025My family was in town for a large group rafting trip and this house was both the perfect location and layout. The house was conveniently located to restaurants, grocery stores, parks, and our rafting outfitters. The instructions sent ahead of time were clear and made check in a breeze. The house was clean, well maintained, and well stocked! Everything was clearly labeled and neatly organized. The layout of the house was perfect for being the base for a rafting trip with the breezeway and laundry room giving a perfect spot to drop the wet gear off without having to walk through the house. The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the fans they had since we are use to having fans on when we sleep. This was ideal for us and we would absolutely stay here again!
