Classic New England Vacation Home Near Beaches, Harbor & Village

The Maurice was a great communicator, very responsive, and made the entire booking process easy. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, which helped us save money compared to eating out. We loved the proximity to local attractions and found the home to be the perfect base for our trip. We would highly recommend this property to any other traveler and look forward to staying here again!

What a wonderful property with a terrific location. Maurice is a excellent host and his house was well appointed and clean as a whistle. The house had a view of the pond and a few steps from the front door, a view of the Wiggly bridge and Fisherman's walk. York was the perfect base to explore the Maine coast and the fall foliage.

We 5 old friends (70 yrs) were so pleased with our long weekend at this lovely, comfortable, well-equipped home. Beautiful, quiet and convenient location. Beds were comfortable. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the new patio, porch and cozy living room to relax and visit. Communication with Maurice, the owner was easy and helpful. My daughter and her family arrived first and she texted me and said The house is awesome! and she was right. The fact it had a 1st floor bedroom for my husband who has mobility issues was so helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone. Maurice was a wonderful host and was great with information and communications.

We come to Maine for the annual New England Parkinson's Ride. The house fits all of our family coming for the ride along with a friend or two. It is in a great location for walking to the the beach and the Wiggly Bridge. My adult children and their significant others (dogs too) love to walk to the bagel shop as well. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for your stay and then some! The host is excellent with staying in touch and is very quick to respond to questions.

The house is perfect. Host thought of everything . Very easy, dogs loved Wiggly bridge walk. Communication very easy, host replied very quickly. Accommodations very comfortable . House was immaculate and easy to maintain thru stay. Very convenient for beaches, towns and Outlets. Just can’t say enough, kudos to Maurice. Looking forward to booking again .

This is my third stay in this beautiful vacation home with my family. The house is just perfect for us with all of the space and amenities it provides. I am already looking forward to booking it for next year!

Booked this place for our daughter’s graduation from UNH. Parents, siblings and grandparents all together under one roof for a long weekend. My mom cant do steps so the downstairs bedroom with bath was perfect. The place has been newly remodeled inside and out. The huge dining room table accommodated 9 of us for dinner. The kitchen is huge, new, bright and is fully stocked with everything you need. We made all of our meals to feed the crew, gas grill was great. The location is awesome, there are walking trails just a few blocks away that either lead you to the beach, or into a wooded reserve teaming with birds. The street is quiet and very safe. Maurice was great to work with and communicated with us as needed. 10/10

My group of 8 ladies and I chose this home because of location and the number of beds/ bathrooms. We loved our stay at this lovely homey comfortable home- fully equipped kitchen open to the large dining table - plenty of room for our large group. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and comfy. Living room also accommodate our large group easily. Favorite area was sitting out in the lovely porch in the afternoon relaxing and enjoying with beautiful fall weather. Any questions/ concerns were immediately responded to by the owner. Would definitely recommend this listing.

Each of our 5 family members had our own room in this updated New England style house. The kitchen had everything we needed (& more), there were little extras like sketch pads & board games available. A bridge over York river with beautiful sunsets & nature views is a 2 minute walk. Only the hidden limitation of arriving to unmade beds detracted; however, our host Maurice took care of this at my request only 24h before our arrival. Wow! & THANKS!

We had an awesome stay in York! The owner was very accommodating with a last minute request, which was greatly appreciated. My kids loved the layout and extra room that we didn't have last year (different location and house). Two had to work while we were there and were able to find a quiet space in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and then some. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows, and fans were a plus as well! The walk to the bagel shop became a morning trip for some and walks to the beach and/or the wiggly bridge was part of most days. We loved the place so much, we have already reserved it for next year as it was in a perfect location for us to attend the New England Parkinson's bike ride. The kids all want to do a bit more in York next year as well!

Our vacation week in York was fantastic! The house is clean and incredibly well set up with all of the amenities. Already thinking about next Summer!

Property was exactly as listed. Stayed here with a group of friends for a wedding in town. Clean, comfortable, and very walkable. Be sure to check out the wiggly bridge just a short walk from the house!

Great location and great property. Rooms clean, all amenities as described. Loved the quiet street and scenic trail nearby to the Wiggly Bridge Reserve and Fisherman's Walk. Ice cream and bagel shop also just a short walk away! Short drive to beaches made it convenient for all activities during the week.
