Classic Colorado Log Home w/ Mountain Views!

Great accommodations!

Location was excellent for our plan to fish, cabin was comfortable and excellent accommodations for us.

The cabin was perfect, quiet, well-kept, had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the scenery and peace and quiet. The landlords and manager were so responsive when we had questions, we had a wonderful time.

We stayed in Florissant with two of our siblings to attend my son’s wedding. We absolutely loved the home. I ended up cooking for a dinner to take to the wedding venue on Sunday. The kitchen and entire cabin was well and beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the two upper floors was wonderful. The host was very responsive to our question and check in/close out procedures were easy to follow.

The Mountain View was great. Cabin clean, no dishwasher. Bedroom #1 was downstairs which was not indicated in the description and a bit of a surprise. Bedroom #2 was an upstairs loft which was described adequately. All bathrooms were great. Living area seemed overcrowded with too much big furniture Outside deck has a severe slope and felt totally unsafe with one corner held together by tightening pip straps.

The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed including coffee. The location is nice the drive is pretty, a park right across the street. The stairs are steep and sloped outside and the inside ones are also taunting up to the balcony bedroom. The most disappointing thing of our stay was the balcony looks and feels like it’s coming off the house. I was extremely nervous to be on irt or let my kids on it. It’s clearly falling and sloped out. So sadly we didn’t get to use that much. The basement smelled like garage. Which would go away when we opened the window but came back when closed.

My husband and I needed a quick and relaxing weekend getaway and this home was absolutely perfect! We were so comfortable, it was a quick drive into Woodland for access to restaurants and stores but yet felt like we really did get away. Highly recommend!!

This cabin was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The views are excellent and the area is quiet. It was a great base camp for our fly fishing adventures.

Great Cabin that is close enough to everything yet secluded enough that you can relax. This house had a full kitchen which was a huge plus. The crockpot was a great way to cook food while gone and be able to eat when you got home. It was a cozy house with a fireplace and comfy couches. It was a great place to go especially after being stuck in the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine for 8 plus hours.

Such a cozy cabin and excellent host. Convenient location near the library and well stocked mercantile.

Simply could not have went any better from Check in to check out and everything in between. Didn’t want to leave !!!

My family and I enjoyed a nice trip out to the Colorado Springs area. While the house was further out from some of the local attractions the views along the way and there were completely worth it! We enjoyed the deer that came out early morning and night to the edge of the balcony. The house was great and was everything we needed for a family with preteens. We would definitely recommend!

Overall we had a great stay. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Furnishings were nice. The views are great from the deck. Florissant is a great little town and you should definitely go to Iron Tree Brewery for an exceptional burger! The grocery store is well stocked. A couple of things to note…the cabin is on a steep hill and requires a bit of an incline climb to enter and there are 3 levels with lots of stairs so it may not be elderly/small child friendly. Note that there is no A/ C so the loft can be toasty for sleeping (probably not a problem normally but the temps were super hot while we were there) Communication and ease of entry were great. Very cozy and comfortable.

Very nice and quiet area. Nice central location, not in town. A true log cabin. Clean and conformable beds. Easy to communicate with the host. Not the easiest access. Stairs and more stairs to the loft. But what a beautiful place. Worth every penny.
