Classic coastal home with game room & private hot tub - walk to beaches

Great house, property was very clean, had a great pool and hot tub. (Hot tub could use a drain and wash). Property was in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and the beach.

The games downstairs were great the kids loved them. However, we got the place for the pool and hot tub. We never got to use the pool or hot tub. The pool heater wasnt on, the hot tub was filled with a deadly amount of chlorine the water was yellow and wouldnt consistently heat. I reached out and they said theyd send a local team and never heard anything again. There are lots of stairs and short toilets so it is not meant for older people or handicap. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The tv didnt work most of the stay which sucked. The place was really beautiful and great location but the experience could've been made better.

As many others have said house is in need of some TLC. Location is great with a short drive to local shops and beaches. Having a pool and hot tub is a great thing for trips with younger kids. Entry code worked perfectly and without any issues for us. Hot tub was full of sand and other debris from previous renters and had clearly not been drained and refilled prior to our visit. Some plates and cooking items were not clean when removed from cabinets and had to be rewashed before being used. House has tons of potential to be a consistent 5/5 if things were actually addressed and/or upgraded.

Perfect location and very spacious. Perfect for our large family. Other reviews mentioned the condition of the property and yes it could use a little TLC, but it was clean, and the pool was a huge plus!I will book this property again.

I don’t even know where to start. I’m a pretty reasonable and laid back person when it comes to rentals on vacation. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at a rental house. First, we arrived to the rental and all doors were unlocked. None of the cleaning had been completed. There was literally laundry everywhere in every room and in the living room there was cleaning supplies out. None of the beds had sheets in them. I called and we were told first that they had an emergency, then when I called back an hour later after no one came I was told that the last people left it in bad shape. Every piece of rug and carpet needs to be replaced. Like previous reviews state, the bunk beds are basically unusable, very unstable.When we got home the first night, our door code did not work. We had to wait to get a response before entering and they gave us a completely different code. The pool and hot tub were great. Those are the only two positives I have though.

The door code didn't work and the phone number to call wasn't able to provide support for us. A service man had to come and physically let us in. This delayed our entry significantly. The carpet is very stained and dirty. The floors were not mopped and if you walk around the house barefooted then the bottoms of your feet turn black from dirt. There was old food and trash out by the pool and spa area. The spa water was green and cold. The pool had a heavy odor. The pool company had to come out the next day. The service man had to drain the spa, clean it, repair it and refill it. So it was late afternoon of the next day, that we were able to use the pool and spa. There is zero lights in the back yard. No one can see to go down the steps safely. The wooden privacy fence door doesn't close much less lock, and the fence is also dilapidated and falling down. A main level bedroom and living room has zero working lights in the room. The air conditioning on the ground level is duck taped to the wall. The cracks in the kitchen floor have food and dirt all in them. The kitchen table was filthy, it had old food, stains and raisins all over the table. Stove top and ice dispenser don't work. The coffee maker had old dried coffee grounds in it. The dryer had wet towels in it. The house has multiple broken railings outside, and railing spacing inside is dangerous for toddlers. Outside trash cans stayed full, preventing us from taking our trash out. YOU CAN NOT WALK TO THE BEACH -

We read reviews before booking that mentioned the bottom floor ac not working, bugs in basement, bunk beds wobbly and carpet stains. We were reassured that all of this was taken care of before our stay. Well, clearly it wasn't, basement had roaches on roll away bed, basement ac not working, kids couldn't sleep on bunk beds because they were so wobbly, floors disgusting carpet stains ... great location, but property manager and owner should be ashamed to continue to rent this out with these same issues happening for a full year (based on last review from 2024 stating same issues) Maintenance came out quickly which was great, Vacasa said they would refund us a night for our troubles (kids had to sleep on air matresses we brought in basement instead of bunk room) and has ghosted me since with no credit given.

The house was neat and clean. plenty of room for us to enjoy being with each other. we played cards, shot pool,watched movies. The beach was close enough you could stay on on the side streets to get there. wish i would have checked the jelly fish reportbefore going though. the swimming pool and hot tub were too cold to play in just that time of year. maybe june or july would be betterthis is no reflection on the house

Absolute perfect location - near King & Prince, Crabdaddy’s, Crab Trap, Barrier Island Brewery, and Fiddlers (all within short walking distance). Can walk to beach! Plenty of parking and room for a group. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean. Bunk room is very small but probably fine for smaller kids or if you don’t mind sharing space in close quarters. Plenty of bathrooms for large group! Carpets needs to be replaced, as does the rug in living room (was clean, but had stains). Hot tub does not get hot and pool needed to be cleaned. A few outlets did not work. Dryer also went out while we were there, but property manager communicated quickly and accommodated by bringing extra towels for us during the stay. Overall, it was pretty decent and we would stay there again.

The house had no AC in the basement the whole time we were there. Property management aware but it was never fixed. The house could definitely deserve a little TLC.

Location was great! House is NOT handicap accessible. Showers and carpets were nasty. Grill was rusted out and filthy. Parking was interesting considering it sleeps 13 and there is only Parking for 5 cars. Definitely not worth the price!

We loved the house and the location. There was plenty of space/beds making it a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a great! I had difficulty getting a hold of the management company. And there was a bag of trash left in the kitchen and not enough toilet paper. Other than those minuscule things, I highly recommend staying here. It was lovely.

The house is nice especially the main floor, the kitchen and dinning areas are great. The pool while smile was perfect for cooling off and the distance to the beach was an easy walk. The bass and why I gave an over all three star. The bottom floor AC did not work and the bottom floor had a strong mildew smell. And while it’s a small thing only half of the jets in the jacuzzi worked. The beds were comfortable and I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family. And the price was right.
