    Stayed Jun 12, 2025

We had a great stay for my mother’s 70th birthday. The home was beautiful and very clean. We stayed before the institutions summer officially started so it was nice and quiet. Really enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing all the beautiful architecture. Enjoyed an evening cocktail on the porch of the Athenaeum Hotel. There was a very well stocked kitchen with everything you need. I cooked a pretty involved meal one evening and had everything I needed except a good chefs knife which I always travel with anyways. We had one small issue with very low water pressure from kitchen faucet. I contacted rental agency and they did send someone out quickly but he was unable to figure it out and said he had to call a plumbing company. Was told someone would be in touch however no one ever called me back. It was just the diffuser in the faucet which I cleaned out with vinegar and some hot water. I have to question a maintenance person who couldn’t figure that out. Left off one star for not receiving a call back on that issue. I would stay again.
