Chimney Rock Mountain Hideaway, Awesome View of Rock, sounds of Broad Run River

We absolutely loved staying here! Everything was perfect!!

Nestled in a copse of trees on a hillside, this well-appointed home feels larger than life and is the perfect getaway. With just a quick walk to the village that rests outside of the Chimney Rock State Park entrance, you are taken back to a simpler time. You can enjoy the shops, the restaurants, the brewery on the river (and even get in the river if you want), and the winery tasting room all while taking in the beautiful views. There's even a riverwalk you can take to get around behind the village. A literal 3-minute drive and you're at the flowering bridge which is a sight not to be missed. Once you've experienced life with people and seeing the sights, you can easily 'escape' to this hidden home and have the feeling of being in the middle of the woods, but the amenities of an upscale, well-connected home. The hosts were more than accommodating, very communicative, and a pleasure to work with. We will visit again and have already highly recommended visits to our family and friends.

Very enjoyable stay. House was very clean and super well stocked. The best part was the enclosed deck with a view of Chimney Rock. We spent most of our time on that deck enjoying the view.

We had a really nice time here. The location was great, the home was very clean and organized. The screened in porch was the star of this home and we spent the most time out there as the view was beautiful!

We loved our stay in this perfect little cabin in the woods! It was tucked away nicely in the woods and only a 5min walk into the cute Chimney Rock Village. We had a great view of Chimney Rock and could see Hickory Falls also. It was the perfect retreat away from all the hustle and bustle and after a long day of hiking the state park. Super peaceful, I don’t think we ever saw any neighbors, just a mama bear and her 2 cubs climbing the tree outside our window. We loved how light, bright and airy the cabin is and how clean and well stocked it is. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay. Close to everything and the front porch was a delightful place to relax, read and watch the wildlife. The property had everything you could need for a relaxing week in the mountains. We highly recommend the area and this property.

The home was very clean and cozy. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. They have an awesome screened in porch that overlooks chimney rock which was where we spent most of our time. There are good food options close by and a ingles grocery store a short drive away. Lots of wildlife around the area as well. Saw a bobcat on day one and 3 bear cubs and an adult bear on day 2. Highlight of the trip for the kids. They have put together a binder with all sorts of useful local information which was very helpful. We took their suggestion and hiked Dupont National Forest trails - about an hour away. Breathtaking views and falls. Wish we would have stayed longer and we hope to be back again.

Great cabin, great view, great location! My husband, myself, daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren stayed for 4 nights. At first, I thought it might be a little small for us all, but it worked out well! We had a lovely time and especially enjoyed the screened in porch. The beds were really comfy, too!

Beautiful, well kept, fully equipped house. Centrally located and easy access. The owners were very polite and helpful with our stay. We will definitely return to this location. Thank you for helping make our vacation (anniversary) enjoyable.

We had a delightful visit to Chimney Rock and this home was the perfect retreat! It was the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in and the screened in porch was the highlight of our entire trip. We spent most of our time there enjoying the view without having to fight off the bugs! The owners have such a well-equipped and comfortable home. We will be back!

We had wild storms with hail! Had a tornado warning during the night and lost power! But we enjoyed the Burntshirt for drinks and saw Chihuly at Biltmore and climbed Chimney Rock! And we saw black bear! The house was perfect for 2 couples to enjoy mountain time together!

We totally enjoyed our stay here! The location could not be beat, the layout of the house was perfect and spacious. There were windows throughout, even ones high near the ceiling so great Mountain, woods views! Made the space bright and cheerful! Well stocked kitchen and bedrooms/bathrooms had plenty of room as well!
