Cozy, comfortable and convenient!

This was our 2nd stay at this home. It is in a great location and is clean and well maintained. Robin is great and was super helpful.

We had an amazing stay in this cute cottage. The location is close to many great restaurants. Easy access to the beach or the bay. I’ve would definitely stay here again.

Cute house. Steps away from the bay! The parking was nice since we had a full size truck. It took up both spots but it fit! Great price. Highly recommend.

The cottage was excellent. Felt very spacious for being relatively small — more than enough room for our family of four. It was very clean and amply supplied. We appreciated the beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs. Robin was excellent to communicate with and the location is perfect! We were there during the construction that the listing warned about but it wasn’t really a problem. They started early, which was fine for us as the kids never really adjusted to the time change so we were up early. Other than some noise, the construction next door did not interfere with our enjoyment of lovely Mission Beach!

The cottage is as cute as the picture - inside and out. It is good for 2 people, but could feel a bit crowded with more than that. The bathroom was a bit tight and I prefer to have more water pressure in the shower. We did not cook while we were there, but it seemed like the cottage was equipped with adequate kitchenware. There were plenty of towels (including beach towels) which was appreciated. Robin even had sunscreen available (even though it was a little too cool for us to hang on the beach without sweatshirts and pants.) The location was wonderful - a block to the bayside and a short walk to the beautiful beach. We rode the bikes that were at the house along the bay and the beach side, which was wonderful. We ate at The Mission (right around the corner) for breakfast several days and also found other places along the boardwalk for breakfasts. We were a short drive to La Jolla, as well as Pacific Beach, with good restaurants. The location is also about a 15-20 minute drive to every place we went in North Park, Old Town, University Heights, Normal Heights, Balboa Park and Ocean Beach. The outdoor deck is a nice space to hang out. The area feels safe and friendly. We even used the laundromat, just a few steps away. Robin was super communicative and great to work with!

Robin is a great host - we misplaced the ROKU and she came out and set us up with a new one! Very cute cottage and perfect locaton!

This house was wonderful. I couldn’t think of a better place for my family of four to spend a week. I absolutely go again. The host was amazing a quick to reply. I’m so happy we went with this house for our stay. Very lucky to get to spend time in one of the OG cottages in Mission Beach.

Robin was extremely welcoming and accommodating with us.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Location was perfect, house was clean, fully stocked kitchen, and beds were comfortable. The hot water would go in and out while showering, but the owner made us aware of that and it wasn’t a big deal.

Robin was wonderful about giving recommendations on the area and things to do. The cottage was clean and ready for our use! Though the weather was rainy, we were in a great location to take advantage of all the amenities in the area. Highly recommend Robin and this cottage!

Robin is super friendly and provides great communication. It was nice to have bikes and chairs to use without having to rent. Everything we could need was available in the kitchen.

Everything was perfect ,the location is great for everything ,the bay and the beach where great and beautiful,the cottage was confertable and nice for three people and it would be perfect if it had a bathroom up stairs ,.

Incredible location. Close to everything, and very walkable. Easy walk to the beach and the bay. Good restaurants nearby. Easy to hop in a car and get to nearly everything you’d want to see in the area in 20 mins. We came with a family of four and it was perfect. Host was awesome and very accessible. Highly recommend.

The communication from the host was top notch. The accommodations suited us perfectly and the proximity to the beach was perfect. The well equipment and updated kitchen made cooking a pleasure and the outdoors space was also a great feature. The onsite free parking was a huge plus and so convenient. Would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for visiting our daughter studying in SAN. Love the location and ability to walk and bike to shops, restaurants and entertainment. House is adorable. One extra daybed upstairs would have been perfect but overall it all worked out well! Thanks so much

Perfect place for our family vacation! House was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The location is the best area in Mission Bay/Beach!

We are a family of 4 who visited San Diego and decided to spend a few days in Mission Beach. We loved our stay in Robin’s cottage!Communication with the host was super easy. Her directions are helpful and clear. Easy access to enter with a door code. 2 bedrooms with queen beds plus a comfy couch and extra bedding. Lovely smart TVS in each bedroom plus the living room. Each bedroom has a portable AC unit plus the cross breeze through the unit made it quite comfortable. The upstairs deck was fantastic! Loved the beach chairs, towels. The kitchen is well equipped. Parking is tight- we had a Mitsubishi Outlander for a rental and did fine but a larger SUV or truck may not fit. The walk to the beach or bay is short. The laundromat is 3 houses away. The neighborhood felt safe. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you

Property fit the bill for our group. Manager the parking even with the rental car company giving me a ram 2500. The home owners were responsive, easy to deal with and generally cared about our stay. The location is great if you want to just stay at mission beach or want to go explore greater San Diego. Grocery is .7 miles away and plenty of other establishments for eating and shopping. I highly recommend this cozy cottage!

We enjoyed our stay! Very clean and was nice to be able to walk to the beach and Bay Area. It was nice that sea world wasn’t too far and we took our family there.

We booked a stay here last minute and knew it might be tight with 4 adults. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the space was. It is small but very well done. We would prefer 2 bathrooms for 4 people but this was workable for our family and we would stay here again!

Cottage is well maintained and in a fantastic location to access the ocean and harbor. Host was very quick to respond with questions and suggestions on things to do. Very impressed overall!! Great for a family vacation

This was our 3rd stay at this wonderful beach cottage & it was just as incredible as all of our previous stays. Great location, cozy, comfortable, clean. It is the perfect place for our small family. My 75-year old mom says it feels like “home away from home”. Thank you for another amazing stay, Robin!

We loved our stay at this quaint beach home! It is located in a great location and the host was so easy to contact from start to finish! She was so accommodating and really was the cherry on top to such a great home. The home offered everything we would needed to make our stay even better! Spices, coffee, utensils, toiletries, comfortable living spaces, great bedding, plenty of extra linens- even beach towels and equipment! We loved the addition of the beach cruisers and all the vintage details within the home! It is safe to say we will be back! Thank you for making our family vacation so comfortable and memorable!

We had an excellent stay at this cottage! The property was clean and comfortable, appearing exactly as shown in the photographs. The location was excellent; just steps in either direction from the bay or the ocean. I wish we could have stayed longer, and definitely hope to stay again in the future. Even though we didn't need to reach out to Robin for anything (she provided so much helpful information ahead of our stay), I felt confident that we could touch base with any questions or concerns, if we had any (we had none)!

In celebration of my daughter’s college graduation - her best friend joined us on a short celebratory trip on Mission Beach. This house is so precious- cozy & Extremely comfortable.Robin the owner, was impressively helpful and responded immediately with communication and answers to questions.It is one of the only original houses where the rest of the neighborhood has mostly been torn down and built with more modern homes. Robin has done a wonderful job of updating and the decoration/vibe was so appealing. It looks like the main space that has not had a major renovation is the bathroom. It’s small & simple but clean and worked fine.

The home is very clean, comfortable bed, amazing location and beautifully decorated. We took public transportation everywhere which was very easy. Would highly recommend this home.

Everything just as we expected. Would stay again

We're local to San Diego, have 2 kids 9 and 6, and just wanted a break and change from the winter break routine. The kids got new bikes and roller-blades for x-mas so we though, Mission beach would be awesome. We could just head out the door and go up and down the boardwalk!Found this gem of a place on VRBO. The pictures and description are spot on and it won't disappoint. It's an old house but very much updated. For our family of 4, it was prefect. We stayed in the winter so our concern was around having heat at night. There were space heaters that quickly warmed up the place. The owner was SUPER responsive and easy to work with. Only downside was parking (parking stinks in mission beach and the fact you have 2 spaces is amazing!!). Just keep in mind you need 2 pretty small cars to fit 2. 1 - no problem. Not a deal breaker by any means. Just park the car you don't need to go in and out of on the street and the other at the property. We'll be back and highly recommend this property. We had a blast!

This cottage is perfect, complete with modern furnishings, appliances, and a fully stocked kitchen. The outdoor patio is a great space to relax after a long day. The beds are the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The location is close to everything you could want; park the car and walk to the bay, the beach, and all the restaurants. The host is very responsive and knows all the local hotspots. Will definitely return to this one!

This cottage was exactly what we needed. Location is spot on. So easy to get to the beach and bay! We loved having the firepit for our chilly nights. Bathroom sink is small which I already knew from pictures but the upstairs vanity/desk made up for it!! Robin was wonderful with communication! Hopefully it works out that we'll be able to stay again in the future!

Just a fantastic location near the bay and the ocean. Neighborhood is just a cool vibe beach town. Robin was great to communicate with, and the house was everything we could have hoped for. We will be back.
