The house was clean and had everything we needed. It is difficult to find and get in especially at night/in the dark because there is not a house number at the street (just a Vacasa sign and the porch light does not shine over the door so punching in the long numerical code to access the house each time is challenging. The furniture and kitchen are dated but everything was comfortable. We appreciated the coffee and filters, the shampoo, and lots of towels. The yard is fenced and our dog loved it. And as the description says, the view is amazing!

I normally don’t like to write negative reviews and let things go by, but I’m writing a negative review since the place needs serious attention. For the amount charged, the owners should consider renovating a bit. I felt cheated off our hard-earned money. First, a minor, but confusing one. The property is tucked behind another property with another address plate. As at least one more reviewer commented, it is tricky to locate this property.Second, a major one. The property needs serious renovation. The living area smells very stuffy. We had to open the doors in the cold to bring some fresh air, and yet, the smell won’t go anyway. The living area couch is very dirty. It seems to have seen its age. The bathroom is so so.Finally, we decided to get out of the property early. It is not livable, except the master bed room, which was okay. Please skip this property.

This place was an outstanding stay. We'd definitely be back if we come this way again. We felt comfortable and at home. The view was amazing. The location, the amenities, were all just right. I had to pry my wife off the couch on our checkout day. We were super comfortable, but it is a cabin and not a home. Expect some minor things, such as needing to run a space heater in the main room. Bedrooms have baseboard heaters and thermostats which work well. The kitchen is basic, but on par with other rentals we've stayed at. Appliances all worked well. You won't run short on linens or basics - they supply you well. Hot water was never an issue (always a concern in the mornings with a teenager). If the weather had been nicer, I don't know that I would have left the deck. I spent my mornings out there with my coffee enjoying the canal and the mountains. We didn't try the two supplied grills (charcoal and propane) this trip, but I considered using them. Outside spaces were beautiful and well-maintained.It does share a property with the owners (whom we never saw). Parking was good for us, but would be tight for 2 cars. The driveway is shared with the owners. The cabin is down a few steps from the parking. Walmart is 10 minutes away if you need something. Poulsbo is a fantastic little town with great restaurants and charms I did not expect. All in all, I have this one in my favorites if/when we come back this way.

Very cute home on Hood Canal that is close enough to stores/town/freeway and yet very private and secluded. Just north of Bangor Naval base, we got to see a sub in transit! Nice deck and yard, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. This was my 2nd time staying and I would stay here again.

This place has SO much potential… if it weren’t for the overwhelming mold smell when you enter the house and throughout our stay. It’s got a beautiful view, and the cabin itself is woodsy and cute, with a great deck and yard area perfect for dogs (albeit a clearly pressure washed wood deck that needs to be sanded - sliver mayhem.)We got there and the house was freezing. It’s clear that the 2 space heaters they have in the main area are supposed to be the main source of heat - and a couple in the bedroom closets - but none were going when we arrived. Took hours to warm up, and then we don’t keep them on when we sleep because of safety. We were cold most of the stay when present. It wasn’t the cleanest. Hairs on the wall of the bathroom that weren’t ours, and what we think was mold on the corner of the bedroom floor. Otherwise, just dirt/grime around the edges of things.Bring your own pillows. I can’t stress enough the gorgeous view, and wonderful grass yard out front, but unfortunately with all these other issues mentioned (mostly the mold.), we wouldn’t stay here again unless the listing made clear it was fixed. We did get early check in.Disappointing overall, with a place that could be awesome.

Checked in after dark. NO LIGHTING at all....almost drove off the the parking area that sits higher up than the rental. While trying to the entry,, i fell down the steps that were listed in the description of the rental , this was due to the no lighting. I had to use my camera flashlight just to see the codes on the entry pad. The house was icecold when i arrived. I turned on the heating along withthe propane stove. It blew out the circut breaker in the master bedroom and i had to sleep in the guest room. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. The sheets were clean. The rugs are filthy along with the carpets. There areothwr homes all around and no privacy, including the owners unit that is on the property which the listing goes state either. There are not enough window coverings for privacy in this cabin either. Everyone could look right in. I left the next morning and never came back. View is great. steps because there was no lightingp

We rented this property for a weekend birthday getaway. I loved how secluded the property is and yet close to freeway access. The house has newer appliances, was very clean and had a great outside space. There are hard floors throughout, so bring your slippers if you tend to get chilled easily.

The view was amazing, and it worked out great for us because our son's wedding was nearby. The unit itself was a bit tired, in need of new carpets, furniture, and a good deep cleaning. Little things like coffee to make in the morning would have also been nice.

Overall this is a really great place for the price. It isn't 5 Star in regards to perfect everything. It is 5 stars in the way that this is a cabin feel with a wonderful view. The area is quiet and tucked away but still with in 30 minutes of the Bainbridge ferry, casinos, Downtown Poulsbo and on and on. It's not often I feel a place understated something but the view is beyond what can be shown in pictures.

The view, the back yard, and the deck area. I also like how it’s tucked and hides. That was cool because it’s private!
