Charming & sophisticated dog-friendly retreat with pool, generous deck, & W/D

5 Stars! My family had the perfect Thanksgiving stay here! We had all we needed to make dinners and breakfast. The location is perfect. Close to town but away from the noise of traffic. The layout was great and the space was so clean. It’s so refreshing to stay at a nice place that is what it says it is. Clean cozy and convenient. Will def recommend and stay again!

Beautiful house and neighborhood. Everything was clean and plenty of linens available. The communiity pool was very nice too.

We had a stay with our dogs. The place was great, and we felt very comfortable. I appreciated that there were plenty of towels for us to use for showers and at the beach. The gated fence was a peace of mind so the dogs could roam freely while we grilled outside.

We loved the location and community. Home was very spacious and clean. Everything we couldve asked for for our first Spring break with our high school kids..

It is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. It was very comfortable and a nice escape from the beach.

The Blue Shell is in a perfect location right outside of town and close to the beach. The community here at paradise pointe was very welcoming and kind to me during my stay. Would recommend this beautiful rental if you’re visiting!

This was a fantastic space for my birthday weekend. The house was nicely laid out. The location is perfectly located with easy access to anything on the island. The neighborhood was well kept and we felt safe walking our dogs after dark.

The house was great, super clean and wonderfully decorated. Floors were not sandy which was a pleasant surprise, as usually there's always sand on the floor of beach properties. The only downside is outside of the management companies control, the neighborhood is alongside a marshy area and has horrible mosquitos, which are very large and you can feel them bite you.

The floor plan is very spacious- nice layout. If you have trouble with stairs or don’t want to let dog out by going down stairs each time, not a good property for you. Under the house is fenced with a grass & nice cool area for pet to play. You have to drive to the beach & not in area easy for golf carts. Master bed was comfortable. Suggest owner get an upgraded shower head. There was mold on vents of AC. The shower had mold too at base of the shower. A dehumidifier probably needs to be bought & attic-vents checked. The bath tub was not clean. They should invest in better sofa at some point & bigger tv in living. Checkout is a hard stop at 10am with no grace time so be sure to get up early. Seemed a bit strict for being at the beach the previous day. Nobody can check in until 4 so seems a bit rigid for a vacation home. Pots & pans were dirty with rust. Bring your own spices. No cleaning supplies at all. Needs better towels. We enjoyed the pool. The area seems safe for walking. Cute neighborhood. It was okay but probably will look for another property.

Everything close. The home is plenty spacious. There is a community pool which was fantastic, too. The home was presented in a very clean manner. Beds were so comfortable, we slept like babies.

Like how clean and comfortable homey feeling it was . Spacious and accommodating. Close to town .
