Please do note that the rate on Homeaway website up to 4 persons consists of the Jersey option : our guests occupy the entire villa except the Guernsey suite on the last floor : all rooms, all bedrooms of the second floor (three bedrooms and a very small 'cabine' room), one bathroom, separate toilets.
Bedlinen and towels not included, charges and final cleaning included.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969La Maison Rose is a homely, well appointed holiday property. We stayed for a week with family friends and the house provided everything we could want. Anne is an attentive owner, sharing many points of interest for us to explore and being flexible on our travel dates (to avoid the crowds - I have never experienced this in 25 years of renting holiday homes!). Portbail is a pretty seaside town with everything you would need. It's within easy reach of Cherbourg, Bayeux and the landing beaches. We'll definitely be back. I have to mention fabulous Chantal & Serge, who are The guardians of the property - they were marvellous. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had 9 wonderful days in July and La Maison Rose. We loved the atmosphere and how close the huge beach was. We were amazed by the tide and followed its highs and lows every day (thanks to the timetable we were given on arrival). The pool was fantastic and used every day. Thanks to the good tips on Boulangeries and butcher we could buy good food that we enjoyed in the nice garden in the evenings. We got great tips on restaurants and even went off to Carteret and Dielette for a good lunch with great views. The market in Barneville and Portbail was very fun to experience. The house is very clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped with toilets on each floor. We had a very good contact with Anne, which also contributed to the entire stay being so good.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our second summer in La Maison Rose, and we thoroughly recommend it. Beautiful and well-maintained pool and gardens, minutes from a huge unspoilt beach, spacious and charming house with everything needed, and very helpful hosts. Great location in terms both of nearby village for provisions and Normandy Beach sites for visits. We are a family of 7, with children aged between 10 and 18, and there was something for everyone, and space a-plenty.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our stay at la Maison rose. The house is beautifully decorated, & also had everything we needed. The garden & swimming pool were well maintained. The peaceful location was idyllic,& the fact you could walk to the beautiful beach in a few minutes was wonderful. The neighbours of the property were so helpful & friendly,& made our stay easy & enjoyable. We would definitely stay at the property again we had a wonderful holiday.
