Charming Newcomb Cottage Downtown Sonoma

The home is beautiful, quintessential Sonoma with its own little vineyard vines growing in the serene backyard. The home itself was inviting and sweet. It provided a perfect home away from home.

Perfect home for a weekend away!

The host was incredibly responsive. The home is beautiful and well maintained with a welcoming vibe. Every amenity was considered and provided. The house itself was a snapshot of wine country charm. The gardens with fruit trees, a trellis with mature grapevines and so much more made the residence magical outdoors as well as indoors. We loved our time at the Newcomb St. Cottage Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time with rest and relaxation in the cozy Newcomb cottage, while is rained outside a pretty storm... and my doggie loved the large yard to walk around in and play. The cottage is near Sonoma Town Square, with a lot of wonderful restaurants, wineries and pretty countryside nearby. A nice oasis away from all of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but yet with all of the conveniences.

The outside was park-like. The concerns about no music and quiet after 9pm, don't seem to apply to the neighbors in the HOA. Construction across street always kicked off at 7:30. Party behind house went until midnight. House was surface clean, but dirty under beds and couches. I texted pics of damage we noticed after check-in.

We really enjoyed our time at this cottage. It is about a 20 minute walk to the downtown area. The cottage itself is very cute but the best part is the outdoor areas- huge double lot with mature plantings and multiple seating areas. Would not hesitate to recommend.

What an amazing stay. This cottage was stunning. It was in the perfect location. The town plaza was so beautiful! This cottage had everything we needed for an amazing trip!

I wish we had more time to spend in this lovely home. So nice to wake up to morning sun streaming into the kitchen and drink coffee on the porch, great fenced back yard for the pup and to dine alfresco. Clean, comfortable beds, good water pressure, kitchen well equipped. Close enough to town square to walk (20 minuteish) and about 10-15 minutes drive to wineries

Perfect little cottage, great location.

This is a well maintained, quaint home with all the amenities. Fantastic location. The kitchen is well equipped and has modern, beautiful appliances. We visited in February so didn't take advantage of the gorgeous backyard but we hope to be back!

We were two couples traveling to explore wine country with a hired driver.This place is super cute and well appointed with items needed if you were staying in and cooking meals.Kitchen chairs are an accident waiting to happen with a collapse of a chair. We are smaller adult women and were afraid to sit on them for fear of breaking them.Heat distribution of thermostat and even heat in rooms was a slight issue also.

The cottage was perfect for our group of four on a birthday trip to wine country. The house exceeds the pictures and the back yard space is amazing.

Everything you need was available at this location. The home was clean, beds were comfortable and neighborhood was very nice. The weather was not great during our stay so we didn't use much of the outside amenities. There are lots of nice outside sitting areas that would make this an ideal spot in nicer weather. We had a one year old with us, and the neighborhood was wonderful for a stroller ride and walk to a coffee shop. It's a short drive to beautiful wineries and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

The house and the location were centrally located in downtown Sonoma with easy access to the stores and to the surrounding wineries. The property had a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy visits with family.

The property was amazing and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. Very relaxing. And the VRBO host was quick to respond when we needed them. Would definitely recommend this property.

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Newcomb cottage. The house is spacious, well equipped with all of the essentials, in a wonderful area with restaurants, shops, and convenience stores all in walking distance, and has an absolutely lovely outdoor space. It’s a great space for a small group. Definitely recommend this for your stay!

This place was perfect for my husband, me, and another couple. Great, private outdoor space. Beautiful fruit trees and herb garden as well. We spent several evenings outside enjoying ourselves. The inside was tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in. My only issue was that the back bedroom and bath had the same curtains that were too small for the windows. It didn't give privacy when changing and using the space at night. Besides this everything was in good quality, well kept and clean which made our stay very enjoyable. I have high expectations for cleanliness, and this rental was probably the best one I've been to in a while. Good job to the cleaning crew!

We LOVED our stay at this home. It was impressively clean and the space was so comfortable! We loved making breakfast and eating outside in the gorgeous backyard in the mornings. Such a great central location!! All of us really loved it here. Thanks for the stay!

Cottage was adorable and had just enough space for our family of four. Backyard was private. Two bathrooms were great. Vibe was California casual and the side porch was great for morning coffee and email checking. The kitchen chairs are very lightweight and should be touched with care (we broke one by sitting on it). But, the bench on the other side is great.

In town for my sister's 50th Birthday & were fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful cottage. The moment we arrived until we left everything was absolutely perfect. Loved the backyard!!! Super close to the town square & so many great restaurants. Hope to return soon.
