Very well appointed property with everything you need for a wonderful lake vacation!
The picture on VRBO do not do it justice.
Our family spent a great week here. The house was perfect for the seven of us, including our three grandchildren. They loved the outdoor shower! The large dining area inside with the expansive view of the lake, and the large deck with table outside, allowed for wonderful family meals. The lake is quiet and beautiful with a nice sand bottom. The location very private, yet convenient to the North Conway area. We highly recommend this home for a fun family vacation.
The home was nice and clean, not overly cluttered with tchotchkies. The owners maintain their beach, and that extra work was appreciated. There weren't many toys/games for kids, but they had a great time digging in the sand and splashing in the pond.
Perfect location for a quiet week away. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Took my wife and two boys here and its such an ideal property if you’re looking for western Maine and lakes region. Nestled on a pond in the woods, it’s a very private and quiet area and the beach area is maintained and shallow making it great for kids. The house has updated kitchen and baths and the photos really don’t do justice to how nice the house and yard is. It’s also about 25 min to North Conway which is loaded with shopping and activities. Fryeburg has a few little gems for stores and restaurants and is most known for their fair in the fall. Had a great time and Already booking our next trip!
We loved staying at Marla's home. The views were spectacular, the house was very clean and organized, and it was a perfect location to explore the area.
A dream setup for my family. With 4 kids under 9 and the grandparents, having our own huge yard and sandy beach to play in everyday was incredible. The house and bedrooms were even larger in person than in the pictures. The outdoor shower was great, we used it all week. Marla was a pro with communication before and during the stay. Can't wait to stay again!
We have stayed at multiple properties over the past many summers in ME and NH, and this one by far takes the cake. Super clean, HUGE yard, excellent giant private beach if the water levels are cooperative (which they most definitely were during our stay), well stocked kitchen with all the cooking supplies you’ll ever need, and so much more to brag about. Marla was on top of everything and answered all of our questions beforehand in a super timely fashion, and was extremely prompt when we had a question during the stay as well. Location is on point; nice wooded private road down to the property (even saw a deer one morning!), but so close to North Conway and what the White Mountains have to offer. We are already talking about booking next year if the cards are in our favor, and will treasure this family vacation for years to come.
We LOVED our week here and cannot wait to return. The lake is even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. The house was clean and super comfortable. It had everything we needed and more (great air conditioning and kitchen stuff). The location is great; it feels private yet close to town and all essentials. Host was lovely. Highly recommend!!
