Charming little house in Bayeux

Such a fantastic little apartment! Great location with just a short walk to the center of town. I stayed 5 nights using the apartment as a base for day trips in the surrounding area. Travelling by car, I had no problems finding available parking on the nearby street. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay, was exceptionally clean and very quiet. I would not hesitate to book again!

Everything was lovely about this day. Julie, the proprietor was as friendly as a next-door neighbor. She provided everything we needed. The coffee was wonderful. The location was superb. I would recommend this to anyone. However, there are stairs to the bedroom, which is on the second floor. Someone was disabilities would need to consider alternatives. There is a sofa on the first floor that can be a bed. Hopefully we can come back someday!

This little house is quite charming. It’s easy to reach the city center on foot. The little courtyard is darling! The stairway to the top is a bit steep and curvy, but there is a good solid handrail available.

The host Julie was extremely good about responding to messages and queries. She even sent us some photos of how to access the property, which we appreciated. It is in a courtyard, set back from a quiet street. The house is indeed about 10 minutes walk from the cathedral: from and to the station took us longer, but within 20 minutes. The house is comfortable, the wifi is excellent, and the shower works well. There are a few points: the staircase may be tricky for some people to negotiate - a handrail seems to have been added on the wall side since the vrbo pictures were taken, but it might be easier if this went all the way down; the hob is in the corner, and the controls are along the far wall, which makes it a bit awkward to use. But overall the little house was very nice, very good value, and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
