Charming house inside walls of Óbidos

This is a great small town house right in the castle walls, just inside the lower , southern, entrance through the walls. Charming and comfortable, nice small kitchen

Truly a great place to stay! Highly recommend! The only con is getting to the front door. GPS takes you to a place outside the wall and it is very difficult to find the apartment. After you have stayed for a day or two, you begin to understand the layout and the very narrow streets. We stayed during the Christmas festival which closed certain streets. That was somewhat difficult to get around. Overall, we would stay there again but want to advise newbies that it’s pretty tough to find the place in the beginning. Otherwise, the cottage is terrific!!

Right inside the castle walls a truly special place to stay. Easy to locate and access and perfect for a short stay in Obidos. Close to amazing restaurants and captavating views from inside the castle.

Lovely home with such charm. We appreciated the bread and fruit that was given to us. The location is great and the bed is so comfortable! There is parking nearby and check in was easy. Thank you!

Property needs upgrade in some areas Tv would be 40 years old and does not work The main carpet was wet Whole property felt damp Towels seemed to have lots of synthetic did not dry body and did not dry even hanging up Toilet seat needs replacing Great difficulty getting key to open front and only entrance to property

Great location for Obidos. Super comfy bed, everything you need!

Óbidos was fantastic. The rental was fantastic and so was the location. Surrounded by restaurants. We loved Jamon Jamon and the Litterary Man. We had problems opening the door to the rental. It was not functionning. Had a hard time reaching out to the owner. After 2 hrs the owner sent a lady to help us open the door. There is a trick to open the door. It is a truly wonderful place to stay in Óbidos. I highly recommend it. :)

This little house, snuggled inside the walls of the old city is a real delight. The kitchen is well appointed, bed is super comfortable, and everyone associated with the booking and check-in were very helpful. Location is excellent.

This is an amazing little house in a cool old walled city. They’ve done a great job giving you some of the amenities from the present, while also preserving much of the past the house. If you happen to visit in the winter keep in mind this is a very old home and you’re gonna wanna bring some cosy clothing and slippers. Host was generous and responsive. Would stay again but would rather visit again when it’s warmer lol
