House is in a good location, close to southwest harbor and Acadia

Love the house and amenities. Kitchen was magnificent and we cooked most of our meals there. We had six adults and one baby who all enjoyed our stay. We definitely come again here. Thank you!

Beautiful home! Perfect location! Loved our visit to Acadia - the perfect base camp for the family.

Our group of 7 (3 adult couples and 1 toddler) loved this house. It was just as described and beautiful in person. It was very clean, welcoming and comfortable. We appreciated the privacy of the location as well as the proximity to downtown Bar Harbor and all that Acadia has to offer. There is so much to see and do in the area so we hope to be back!

We came to the area for my sister’s 60th birthday and to participate in a half marathon. The house was perfect for the four of us in the location was so convenient.

The house is large with a lot of common space for everyone. Kitchen is well stock with all you need to cook and bake all your fave food. Location is prime where you are away from the park’s crowd but close enough for you to get there when you need a great night out in town. Host communicated really well and making sure we understand the process from booking to checking in. The place is exceptionally well kept and super clean.

The house is even better than the pictures. The location is perfection. You feel away from crowds, but easily accessible to restaurants and activities. It has all the amenities needed for preparing meals, great outdoor space. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. This house is just “the best”

We enjoyed the space and comfort of the house. The gardens were just coming into bloom ( mid-april) and there early bloomers that I had never seen. Everything was quite nice, but I would mention that even though there were food items that we did not expect to see ( which was fine!) thankfully we brought our own salt and pepper. There was a drawer full for spices ( many thanks) but not salt and pepper, or sugar. So keep that in mind when packing your food stuffs. Lots of towels and the linens were very nice. There is a cabinet full of puzzles and games and we had a fun time using them. The gas grill had not been cleaned, but seemed to have been left out all winter. It might need looking into, although we did get it going. We would recommend this house to a group looking for a good location on Mount Desert Island.

Exactly as as advertised, this home was a clean and comfortable space for a few days of relaxation. The location was on a quiet road and convenient to Acadia trails, bar harbor, and the quiet side. Couldn’t have been happier!

We had a nice time in Acadia, and house was close to Southwest Harbor and the carriage trails at the park. We enjoyed watching the deer eat under the apple trees each morning.

Beautiful well appointed home

This was a great house for a larger family — plenty of space and the outdoor area was so enchanting. It was easy to get to several restaurants and locations, but also felt secluded and quiet. Best of both worlds!

Great house in the forest. Centrally located on the island.

Although we had an issue upon checking in, the property manager was quick to fix the problem. Communication with her was excellent, and she and the staff were more than helpful. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with lots of extras. We especially enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the beautiful surroundings. It felt secluded, but was a short drive to anywhere on the island. Perfect place to stay while on Desert Island.

We enjoyed the house (especially the kitchen and the old fashion bath tub in the master bath). The house was nicely furnished and it was a beautiful place to relax with the family and play board games. We enjoyed the private setting and the central location close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National park.

That was a very nice home in the middle of the Island. This was just perfect.
