Stayed Dec 26, 2025We had a very disappointing stay, especially traveling for Christmas. While the host was responsive and the kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated, those were the only highlights.The rest of the home felt neglected and completely lacked the welcoming atmosphere we expected for the holidays. Unlike previous Christmas stays we’ve had, this home had zero festive touches—no decorations or tree—and was furnished with the bare minimum: just a couch, two chairs, and a table in an otherwise worn-down space.More importantly, we encountered serious safety hazards. A malfunctioning doorknob resulted in my son getting stuck in a room, and a nail protruding from the floor in a guest room caused my son to cut his foot. The house was also poorly cleaned with dust bunnies everywhere, and the mattresses were extremely hard and worn; the master bed has a large lump in the middle that makes it very uncomfortable to sleep on.Despite the host's good communication, the lack of maintenance, comfort, and care made for a poor experience. We would not recommend this for families.
