Stayed Oct 9, 2025We had a magical stay this October. Amy was very communicative and super helpful before and during our stay. One of the most beautifully appointed rentals we've ever stayed in and would highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025This historic home is a wonderful place for distant friends to meet and catch up. It is very spacious - especially the three bedrooms, and well equipped for cooking, hosting, playing games, or just hanging out. Amy was very responsive to questions and provided great info regarding checkin procedures and guest policies (which were all very reasonable). The rooms are filled with eclectic but tasteful decor - there's a lot to explore just in the house itself! About the only issue we had was that there are no window blinds or curtains, so a couple of rooms got pretty hot when the July sun shone in, but it was easy enough to move to one of the many air-conditioned rooms during those times. There are also a couple small fans present to help keep things cool.

Stayed May 16, 2024If you like old houses this one is a gem to explore with a great mix of old and modern. Our family included grandparents attending SUNY Geneseo graduation. House big enough to have space for alone time and to gather for a meal in the great dining room. Highly recommend!!!

Stayed Jun 16, 2022My sisters and I spent a wonderful five days at the Reed Homestead. We are descendants of Philip Reed, who originally built the house in 1803. The home has been carefully restored, updated and beautifully furnished. The large back yard is well maintained and also beautiful. We enjoyed exploring the nearby towns, villages and many lakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Reed Homestead.

Stayed Dec 30, 2021A hidden gem is how we referred to the Homestead during our stay. The property is immaculate and it is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Amy is phenomenal to work with! The extra personal touches were so thoughtful and made us all feel right at home. We were there for my daughter's engagement party and all of the guests just loved the atmosphere and the history of the house. The bedrooms are all gorgeous and so comfortable and cozy. It was the perfect spot for our special occasion!

Stayed Oct 17, 2021It’s a beautiful picturesque home and land right out of a magazine! Love her touch of fresh flowers in every room when we got there. It was very clean. And loved shopping in the little store! Would love to rent it again!

Stayed Sep 27, 2021We really loved this property and hated to leave. The homestead has a long history and sits out in the country in beautiful surroundings. The sunrises and sunsets were colorful. The geese honking in the fields were charming. And the skies, when clear, were full of stars. The bedrooms, all on the second floor, were large and comfortable. We did not use the elegant dining room but felt at home in the back of the house with its comfortable couch and chairs. The eclectic collection of decor throughout the house was most interesting, and it was fun to wander around the house looking at it. It was a very enjoyable stay, and we expect to be coming back real soon!

Stayed Sep 2, 2021The Reed House was lovely, immaculately clean, and the owners anticipated our every need. We were there to attend a family wedding at the Barns, so I had relatives from Florida and New Orleans staying with me. They were impressed by the historic look of the house but modernized for comfort. Other family members stayed at the Mission, which they loved. Plenty of room for good parties, music and fun. Korey couldn't have been more hospitable or helpful. We enjoyed our experience in Conesus and Livonia very much.

Stayed Aug 6, 2021Great location for our wedding party to relax and unwind before and after the wedding. We had rehearsal dinner for 28 at the homestead outside, and it was the perfect location ,beautiful view , and enough room for everyone. Amy was very helpful with helping scheduling our event and with answering questions.
