Charming Guest Suite Close to Downtown Golden

This was an ideal location for our visit to Golden. We normally stay in a hotel, but the cost and proximity to things we wanted to do wasn't great. This allowed us to easily get to downtown Golden and spend time together in a comfortable apartment. The beds were comfortable, but the sound of people walking around upstairs would wake us up nightly. We decided that we would probably stay here again, but bring white noise machine.

We were there for our son's wedding. Could not have asked for anything more. Helped to make the wedding and the multiple events go as smooth as possible. Great and quick communication. Awesome follow through.

This was a nice place to stay, the host is very responsive and the neighborhood is nice and quiet.The suite is very nice and clean.

Great location to downtown Golden and Red Rocks. Quiet neighborhood with nice outdoor patio and gas firepit.

Great location. Comfy beds and softest sheets I’ve ever slept on!! Quality furnishings. Cozy side yard and entrance. One bedroom did not have a curtain on the ground floor window. But we put pillows there and worked fine.

Great week long stay. Quiet neighborhood that is walking distance into the heart of downtown Golden. Private entrance with a nice patio area to sit and relax in the morning with coffee. The owner Heidi was very accommodating and helped us with some great local knowledge. Definitely would stay again.

Communication with host was not good. Tried to contact host on arrival to find entrance. And through out trip and host did not answer any messages or calls. Left messages and never heard back from host.

This is a lovely place to stay. The inside is actually nicer than the photos. The neighborhood wonderful - pollinator gardens maintained by almost every house and even in public spaces. 10 minute walk to foothills hiking. 10 minute walk to a fantastic burrito place for breakfast. The owners of the home live upstairs but will completely respect your privacy. If I could give the location and neighborhood 6 stars I would.

Heidi was wonderful to deal with. She was attentive and quick to answer any message I sent. But, the VRBO listing is a basement apartment for an inhabited house above. The floor for the house and ceiling for the apartment is the same and is loud for people in the basement. The people in the house were just walking from here to there but it's loud. Particularly at 5am. Also, tenants need to wash and put away all dishes before leaving. All the plates and silverware and coffee cups were very clean, but all the pint slipped through the cracks. They were definitely not clean. At all.

This place is in a great neighborhood close to playgrounds and shopping that you can walk to. The host was incredibly responsive and saved our entire vacation by assisting us with an unexpectedly late check in after several flight delays. Her communication and assistance was absolutely top notch. We would stay here again.

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood and nice area to walk our dog. It is also close to downtown and easy to ride our bikes to the creek bike path near downtown. It is a very spacious apartment and beds were very comfortable. The lighting in the main bedroom needs to be improved, it was very dim in the room. The kitchen had everything we needed, except we would have liked an automatic coffee maker. We had a nice 6 night stay.

The property was in a convenient location. Close to hiking, close-ish to downtown. Clean space. Everything we needed was provided and the host responded very fast to questions. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Loved it

We loved Heidi’s place and found it to be just as it was presented on the Vrbo website. It was very neat and clean and very well equipped. It was within walking distance to downtown Golden. Heidi responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Scenic, quiet neighborhood close to shopping.

The property was exactly as advertised. There was a small hiccup as the cleaning crew did not clean from the prior guest. We spoke with Heidi right away, she was super responsive and took care of the situation quickly and professionally.
