Charming farmhouse in peaceful countryside

The bathrooms and toilets were small. Enjoyed the outdoors and Dixie.

Enjoy the country side, nice spacious house, second time to stay, probably not the last.

My family of 6 absolutely loved staying in this home. We drove up from south Alabama to watch a ND game and found an absolute gem. We loved the home and plan on making this an annual destination for our family! Go Irish!

It was very well decorated and clean. The hosts were wonderful. The man of the place showed all around the farm, a fun thing for a former farm family. The only problem we had was the stairway. Two bedrooms were upstairs and no bathroom upstairs. Difficult for older people.

This was our second stay at the charming farmhouse. We brought our 2 grandsons this trip. We had a wonderful time and the boys loved the upstairs bedrooms and the cows, Dixie, and the outdoors. The farmhouse is super clean and modern, and very comfortable. It is great for a family. We will be staying there again, and our grandsons want to come back.

This home is an absolute gem! The details of love and kindness in the home are above and beyond! The area is quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. Our host even had the wood stove already prepared so we only needed to light it, what a touch!!

Wonderful mini-getaway with our kids. Even had a nice amount of kids equipment (ie:pack n play, toys, etc) which we always find very helpful! Easy communication between us & the owners. Hope to come back! And our kids loved Dixie’s warm welcome

This was an absolutely enjoyable stay at this lovely farmhouse in the countryside near Nappanee. Michelle is a very nice host always staying is touch to ensure our stay went well. She even texted us to warn us about the front coming through that had several tornados in the area. They have a store cellar. Their wonderful dog, Dixie, was always there to great us....she is very friendly. And if you stay in the winter as we did, they have a very cosy wood stove fireplace that we used on several nights. Michelle provided the firewood. By far one of the best rentals that we have stayed at and I I highly recommend coming for a week or two and just chilling out in the countryside and enjoy all of the Amish places to visit nearby.

Cozy farmhouse stay with my 4 sisters! We loved every minute, had everything we needed

The host was very responsive and helpful when messaged. The house amenities were very good. I would just say that guests should be aware that both bathrooms are on the main floor and the upstairs bedroom is accessed by passing the bed on the landing which could present a Privacy issue.

We enjoyed staying at this cute little farmhouse! It was perfect for our mother daughter outing. We found the house to be very clean and comfortable. Also we loved all the local shopping. Highly recommend!

The house was absolutely gorgeous. Set up very nice. The host accommodated all of our needs including extra firewood. Dixie greeted us at the door. She's very friendly and made us miss our dog at home LOL. Next time we're in town we will definitely be coming back.

We stayed here for a Notre Dame football game - it was fantastic! Not too far from South Bend, peaceful setting, clean space, comfortable beds, friendly dog, plentiful space for 5 to spread out, and great host!

It was a clean nice place to stay. We loved the ping pong table.

The property was we stocked, which isn't always the case with a VRBO. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the dog is great. Would definitely stay here again. The bedrooms are nice. I particularly loved the upstairs. FYI, the stairs are shallow and steep, but using the railing, we had no problems at all...I just added that in case.

Quiet place to stay. We felt right at home

This property was great. We were looking for something that was very much a farm feel and we got it! Cows with calves in the pasture, a very friendly dog and young kitties playing in the yard. The inside of the home was also perfect.

The little farmhouse was perfect for our family's stay. We enjoyed every little detail the property had to offer, including Dixie's welcoming greeting. Thank you again for sharing this gem with us!

The house is really lovely! We enjoyed staying there so much and the owners were so accommodating and friendly! Staying there reminded me of staying at my grandma and grandpas farmhouse when i was a little girl. Its so special my kids could have a taste of those types of experience like climbing up those stairs, the secret nooks and catching lightning bugs in the evening. It was a perfect location for us too! We hope we can stay here again sometime!

We had the best experience on this sweet little farm! As promised, Dixie, was one of the first faces that greets you and boy was I ready! I would go back just for Dixie! The house way charming and beautiful in every way. The hosts parents were so friendly. We can’t thank you enough for this beautiful place you shared with us. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed before we got married at a local venue. I used it as a getting ready space for my bridesmaids, mom, and I. It was perfect and was a cute little home. The host was very sweet and even brought us over a goody basket as a wedding gift. I highly recommend booking for your next stay.

We stayed in this lovely update 1920’s Farmhouse while our home (RV) was in the shop. This has been my favorite VRBO that we’ve stayed in over the years. The home was very comfortable, well appointed, bright, cheerful and the owner was very attentive. Everything is provided at this VRBO to make it a home away from home.A week into the stay I found a cute little playroom room at the top of the stairs which would have been a great haven for young children. Dixie the dog was a welcome addition as greeter each time we pulled in the driveway.I wish we could have stayed longer to see the blooming of the trees and flowers. We will definitely return. Thanks again for a pleasant stay.

From start to finish, this charming farmhouse was perfect. From the updated decor to the ample sleeping space to the wood burning stove, this place has it all. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Dixie the dogs warm welcome and watchful eye was an added bonus. We definitely would recommend this house to family and friends!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting family for Christmas! Place was spotless, loved the history and beauty of this restored home. We had everything we needed with the carefully selected amenities and more while staying here.

What an excellent home to get away from the chaotic city life. The home is located in the country and on a farm. Upon arrival we were greeted by the farm dog Dixie, who is friendly and fun to have around. The house was extremely clean and had all the necessary kitchen needs. The kitchen area has a large seating area that overlooks the barns, cows, pond and fields. The living room area is comfortable and is equipped with a smart TV and wood burning stove. Two bathrooms are downstairs as is the main bedroom. Two more bedrooms can be found upstairs. All beds are very comfortable. There is a garage that has a ping pong table inside, which was fun to play. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave and coffee maker. During our trips to town, it was interesting to see all the Amish buggies being ridden down the roads. We look forward to returning in the summer and having the ability to enjoy the porch, which is connected to the kitchen, as well as the fire pit located near the pond. Watching the farm activity will be a good time as well. If looking to experience some farm life, this place is a home run.

We just got back from a really great weekend! The rental house was the cutest farmhouse and was decorated so so nicely. It’s so warm and inviting! Dixie, the dog that lives on the property was our absolute favorite. The house is located on a farm and it was fun to watch the farm animals and it was such a beautiful setting. All of the beds were super comfortable and the house was nicely stocked with the necessities. The owners were super responsive and helpful and made sure that our stay was top notch. We already can’t wait to go back again next year! This may have been my favorite rental property I’ve ever stayed at.

The Little Farmhouse is simply designed with a cozy vintage/modern vibe that makes it both beautiful and comfortable. There seemed to be nothing that the hosts hadn't thought of! We settled right in to relax and rejuvenate.
