Seward, Alaska
Awesome location! Blocks away from downtown shopping area, restaurants, and bars. Conveniently located close to the bus stop. Walking distance to the Seward Boat Harbor. This place has a great view of the world famous Mt. Marathon. You will have your own private living space, private bathroom, and private bedroom.
Great location. Walking distance to downtown and the water
Walking distance to downtown Seward, had everything we needed. Coffee, water, and snacks were a nice touch!
Close to town and walkable. Good stop for us!
It was a great place to stay. Nice little extras provided.
Really comfortable and inconvenient
My mistake, but there wasn’t a kitchen. We were planning on cooking our fish from our fishing trip. But it was very comfortable and clean. So if you don’t mind not cooking. Awesome! Thanks for letting us stay.
Very clean and quant small place The bed could be bigger for two adults but it was close to downtown and walking around the park area
Honestly, I wanted to love this place but it is overpriced. For the record: I can get past the fact it hasn't been updated in years. The space itself is large enough for two people to be enjoying on a rainy day without getting cabin fever. The decor in the bathroom is cute! The location really sells this place...walk either direction: to downtown business district for all your meals or up to the marina for fishing and scenic cruises. Security and the mold/mildew in the shower are the biggest concerns. The bedroom window does not latch (owner plans to repair it after the season) and there is no security chain to lock from the inside to make sure no one accidentally comes in while you are there. Also, the arctic entryway does not lock and has no blinds - this would be an awesome space for extra gear storage. While you have the entire space to yourself, you are really in some rooms cordoned off from a larger house. There is unfortunately no outdoor space to enjoy. This is out of the owner's control, but the place next door is an eyesore. Front yard has junk and things everywhere. Back to thus place...the freezer does not work. We put leftover gelato in and next day it was soup, so don't plan on frozen meals. We appreciated the snacks and coffee and tea, that was a nice touch! But calling it a kitchenette is a stretch. Moral of the story: if you just need a place to sleep and store your stuff and this is the cheapest option, go for it.
Comfortable bed and furniture. Everything was pretty accurate in the listing.
This was a quaint little place right downtown Seward. It was close to a Free Shuttle stop, which was great because we arrived by train and didn't have a car. It was clean, had lots of amenities, like advertised and a few nice surprises, and in a quite neighborhood.
Bed was comfortable but not big enough for two adults, needs to be at least a queen size bed
This location was easy to find and convenient to both the walkable downtown area of Seward, as well as more uptown areas (including the hub for our outdoor expeditions with Exit Glacier Guides and Liquid Adventures, both five-stars!). Clean, with comfy couch and bed, and enough amenities to give us a comfortable break from a mostly-outdoor vacation, and at a reasonable price.
We enjoyed our stay in Seward. Great property location.
No kitchen, but it says as much in the listing. It’s a great spot to use as a home base while exploring Seward, and the host set up a nice gift basket full of coffee pods and snacks. We’d stay here again!
The place was great and the location was perfect!
Had a wonderful stay at this cozy place. The host was prompt with commutation, the place was extremely clean, the check in process was easy and the helpful coffee/snack bar was great too. Loved all the maps on the living room wall and the location of this place!
Had a great stay at Toni's place. Great communication, easy check-in/out, clean and comfortable. A few short blocks from downtown shops and restaurants. No complaints!
Lovely place on 4th street in Seward, great living room with all amenities you require after a day of hiking.
Toni’s place is only minutes from all Seward attractions and tour companies, and only a short drive to Kenai. Extremely convenient. The house has everything we need, is clean and shows that the owner cares about guests a lot. Definitely recommend!
Most restaurants and the Aquarium were less than a half mile walk. I asked for extra pillows and the Host (Toni) was very accommodating. It did not have a kitchen/kitchenette but it did have a small refrigerator. Everything worked as it should and it was clean. We didn’t have any issues with the stay.
Nice 1 night stay
