Charming Country Cottage Retreat - Walking distance to Downtown

Home was great but not in walking distance to downtown as stated.

Cottage was perfect. Really close to the wedding venue. Room was clean and host was easy to get in touch with.

The cottage was indeed cozy. We enjoyed sitting in the living room as well as on the rear deck.

Adorable home in a quaint neighborhood. We were able to walk to town-walk to the farm at the end of the street and enjoy our visit with family who live in GA

We got to check in early and the place was super convenient for me and my family. Kitchen had the necessities that we needed for our staySuper cute and cozy place

We had a very lovely time staying at our host's cottage. The description is spot on. The location was ideal for our stay and also only 1 mile from town. We were about a 15 minute walk away so we didnt have to worry about parking for the 4th of July festival that was taking place. Greatly appreciated our host's accomodations as well as their fast response during communication. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your place!

It was a beautiful little home and easy and convenient!

Janet's cottage was easy to find and access in the quiet neighborhood. Parking for 2-3 vehicles. The outside was very neat and tidy. The front entrance is covered with a porch to stay dry while unlocking the door or to sit on. There is also a deck off the side with seating for 4, and a deck off the back with seating for two and a great place to watch the sunrise. All decks and porches are well lit. Inside is nicely decorated with lots of living room seating and tons of cushions. Laminate flooring throughout means cleanliness. The whole interior has been recently redone so everything is fresh and bright and super clean. The bathroom has a tub/shower and lots of instantly hot water. The kitchen has ample cupboards and utensils and place settings as well as a dishwasher. The bedrooms are spacious and restful. The beds could be replaced but are OK if you can keep yourself from rolling to the middle. But they were comfortable enough for my bad back. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. A contractor hit the water main that feeds this street one afternoon and was fixed by midnight. Janet ensured that water was brought to us for flushing the toilet in the interim. Food, other services, and the Silver Comet trail are only minutes away by car or bicycle. We all felt the the cottage was inviting and homey, a nice place to stay away from home.

We really enjoyed our short stay at this cute little cottage in Dallas Georgia. The home had everything we needed for our short stay. The point of our visit was to cycle the Silver Comet Rail Trail. Though not right on the Silver Comet Trail via a short connector trail near the post office, we found ourselves right on the trail for a wonderful bicycle ride. Overall, this is a great VRBO property.

We couldn’t have felt more comfortable while visiting my old home town during the holidays. Very close to Downtown Dallas, which has the cutest shops and nearby restaurants, all beautifully decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend for comfort and relaxation after a long day of visiting local spots. The host went above and beyond when we accidentally had a package delivered a few days after our checkout. Still can’t thank her enough.This will be our go to when visiting in the future.

Cozy little house, very clean close to town

This beautifully furnished cottage was the perfect solution for some needed additional room for a family get together! The host was prompt and helpful with quick responses to any questions. Would definitely rebook in the future!!

As it states, it is a very cute little cottage style house. Nice covered back porch with comfortable seating. Has a little sitting area off the dining room that's a nice place to drink coffee, etc. Its on a quiet dead end lane. As stated, it is close to downtown Dallas. It is more5 minutes by car and you can walk it. It's more of a 20 - 30 minute walk depending on how fast you want to walk. Not only a cute little town, but if you like interesting facts, you should know that Star Girl the series was filmed here in Dallas. There have been many other movies filmed between here and the other nearby small town Hiram (which has a very good restaurant called The Olive Tree) Too many for me to list. Most recent is the Peacemaker with John Cenna.

We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive. We loved the porches and there was plenty of space inside. I would not recommend for anyone with balance/fall risk concerns due to uneven floors as are common in charming old homes.

Home looks to just been updated very clean and updated. Don’t let the outside view fool you this place is gorgeous on the inside and a very quite neighborhood. Would definitely stay again if needed.
