Charming cottage, rocking chair front porch

We went down to visit & help some friends. The house was nice we loved the porch and spent a lot of our free time on it. Bryant real estate was always really good about getting back with us with any questions we had. We would definitely go and stay again if we went back

If you don’t mind an older beach property… this is the place to stay. It was across the street from an east walkable beach access. We had toddlers and a 90+ with us and everyone walked to the beach. Accessible to quick store runs. Lots of local food options. Great experience for us.

House is right across the street from the beach access which is great. It is on the north end close to Freeman Park which allows dogs all day, can drive on this beach if you have a 4x4. The house is spacious and the wrap around porch is nice. Inside the old girl is tired and in need of a makeover. It’s comfortable but no frills. Water had a very strong sulphur smell the first day which dissipated with use.

My family took our first family vacation in 9 years and we absolutely loved the Nest Egg!! It was in the best location with the beach access across the street. Our kids had an awesome time laughing on the porch and it was a perfect place for us to enjoy each other. Carolina Beach did not disappoint. We will be repeat customers!

the house was clean and very accessible in terms of the beach and getting to it from the main roads. it's an older lady with lots of character such as funky carpet, bespoke decorations, sticky doors, uneven floors and lots of creaks and groans. the water had a strong sulfur smell when we first ran it but that went away. the outdoor shower was cute and great to use coming back from the beach. it has a nice large porch with lots of seating and a table in the corner. for all its charm, my whole family has all said we'd stay here again.

There were many structural problems that I’m surprised would pass building codes. The steps were crooked and hard to climb. The ceilings were low and then there were ceiling fans with lights which made them lower!! The TV stand was incredible! The Tv was nailed down to pieces of wood on a cabinet! It really needs an update for the price we paid. We did like the porch and how close we were to the beach access. We were happy with our stay because we were together but not for the house.

Reviewer Comments: This property is in a great location to the beach however it is extremely dated and had roaches. Supplies in the home that one would expect at a beach rental are lacking. The house cooling system only works in the living room which requires multiple fans everywhere to spread the air. This is obviously known as there are 5-6 portable fans in the house. Multiple ceiling fans shake and we feared they would fall off the ceiling. The front stairs appear to be recently replaced however the slant on them is dangerous as we almost slipped off them multiple times. This is a safety hazard. The furniture in the living room is so worn and needs replacing. Overall, this rental is horrible and I would never rent it nor would I recommend this rental. It is in desperate need of repairs and upkeep. The only pluses are the location and the large porch to sit on.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 6 days and everyday but one the owners showed up to do some project. I'm on vacation to relax not to put up with that. I called the management company to tell them the kind of experience I had. Was told I would get a call back. NO call! So I called again and was told that It has been dealt with and I should of got email from Morgan Well guess what no email! The house was like a fraternity house(tape and zip ties for repairs)
