Charming Cottage on Quiet, Cul-De-Sac w/Pond, 5 Block Walk to Virginia Beach

Kitchen, entire house was fully equipped. It was perfect, with many excellent restaurants in walking distance. We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect for us. Nice dead end street with kind neighbors. The host was very communicative and the house had labels to help you with what you needed to know. Be aware that the house, like all the beach front, is near the naval air station so you will periodically hear loud engines overhead but not before 9:00 am and not after 10:00pm. It was not a problem at all and we thought it was really neat. Loved this property and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. We celebrated Christmas with our military kids who live in the area. This place is in a great location!! Close to the ocean, close to really good food and the street was quiet. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and the owner was just a phone call away and we were able to get back in. The house is great and also functional with lots of seating. It was too cold to use the patio but it too had lots of seating. Debbie was wonderful through the entire process. We look forward to booking again in the future!!

Debbie Kent is so very nice. She replies to questions and inquiries very quickly. House was comfortable. Low traffic area, but near to about everything you could think of. Neighbors seemed friendly. Watching the birds on the water across the street was awesome. I would definitely stay again.

Exactly what I signed up for. Close to Virginia Beach and the Boardwalk. The house was as listed. Multiple seating areas, indoors and out, including a nice gazebo space in the yard, providing a break from the sun. Plenty of living space allowed for board games, or just chilling on the sofas. Pricing was fair for what we got. Deb was very responsive to texting.

The house is very close to the board walk and the beach, yet in a very quiet area. It has everything you need, except for the towels, which is clearly communicated ahead of time. Check in was effortless, check out was also easy as long as you follow check out instructions. There were 4 of us and we had lots of room to spread out. I would without hesitation stay here again when traveling to VB. Thank you, Debbie!

Great location! Easy in and out to the beach and surrounding areas. Perfect size for a famoly, extra amenities in the building for younger children if needed. Cozy cottage feel. Host had reasonsble expectations for the care of their home. Would visit again!

I’m a real estate investor and needed to come in town for work. It was very helpful and convenient.

Enjoyed our stay, worked for our needs and price was in our budget. With good location to the beach, coffee places and the aquarium which was our main reason for visiting. Many things were provided or clearly stated you needed to bring.Overall place was clean, has definitely held many years of memories and good times, but was comfortable.

The house is as advertised - very comfortable within walking distance to the southern end of the VA beach boardwalk. Road work was still happening on the street but not a big problem. Unfortunately some interactions with the owner took away from the experience. We arrived somewhat late (around 9:45pm) after a long drive and the directions to get the key and enter the house weren't very clear. I called their number and got a voice mail that said they were closed and no emergency number was given. After calling a couple of times they finally called back and said I was lucky they heard the phone. After getting in we found the cable and internet were out. The was some back and forth in the morning during which the owners stated that I would need to be there for the service appointment because they don't live in town and don't have anyone else close by. I said no because I was on vacation and it is not my property. They did not offer any sort of compensation for the lack of amenity. Called vrbo so they could arrange a small reimbursement at least. Later the owners still wanted to have a service call at the house with no one there and I declined because they said they would not be responsible for any loss of our belongings. I didn't think they should have even asked for that to happen. Lesson for me to be sure a property has a representative on site or nearby. Overall good stay though.
