If you are looking for somewhere that will give you a little piece of heaven, somewhere to take time out from a too busy life, look no further than this property and its beautiful garden. Le Petit Bastidon is a haven of peace and calm situated 10 minutes drive if that from Gordes in the Luberon Valley. True Provence. 5* Hosts and Communication: Great booking service with Luc communicating initially and Jean-Marie welcomed us and was our point of contact throughout the stay. Respectful, Professional and welcoming. 5 * Cleanliness and amenities, expertly thought through. Just what you need, practical. An open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. There is no oven, but do not let this put you off. There are 2 induction rings - great to use and a great advanced microwave that has Oven and Grill functions. 5* Garden - The garden is just beautiful - and has been created perfectly - 3 areas and 3 separate seating areas with little tables. Its so rare to find such a beautiful garden with a 1 bedroom property - situated in a small area with a few other houses nearby, so calm and classy. Can't be beaten is my take. 5* Pool - to get such a clean large pool with a 1 bedroom property is rare. Bedroom great. Bathroom with shower, the shower is older but has good water pressure - fine. For a 1 Bedroom property has got it spot on - it has been thought through to help you find peace, quiet and calm. Unique classy place. Thank you Luc and Jean-Marie - loved it! We hope to return!

This is an incredible stay. It’s simple and non-pretentious but also offers a luxurious experience. Life is slower in this region and full of inspiration. This stay offered what we needed from a well stocked kitchen, espresso maker, large fridge, convenient location, to a private and stunning garden and pool area, and walk in shower. The host is discrete. We enjoyed exploring the local villages and nature. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, this is a very nice accommodation. The host is gentle, warm, and kind. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Petit Bastidon. The house is perfect for two people and very lovingly furnished. The garden is also beautiful and invites to relax. All is very clean. Once a week the house as well as the pool were cleaned. The landlord was always available and very helpful.

A lovely villa in a charming portion of the Provence countryside. The interior is very nicely done out, plenty spacious enough for two, with a small but modern cooking area that is perfectly adequate to cook simple evening meals for one or two persons (note there is no oven, although the microwave has oven and grill functions). The garden in particular is a delight: beautifully laid out with honey-stone walls and olive trees, and the pool is gorgeous. A small herb garden is an added bonus for any home cooks.

Very tranquil location surrounded by lovely hilltop villages and wineries. The property was perfectly equipped and the air con was brilliant in the 39C heat. Comfy bed, slept beautifully. Our stay was just what we were hoping for. Thank you!

Le Petit Bastidon is an excellent property. It is beautifully presented - well furnished and equipped, and extremely clean. It has a lovely garden and swimming pool.Excellent communication and support from hosts.

Best VRBO ever! Combined with a wonderful, helpful and discreet host who was nearby if needed, but gave us complete privacy, this beautifully appointed cottage is a gem. Jean-Marie and Luc will provide the perfect Luberon vacation, whether it’s your first visit to Gordes or (like us) our third visit. You won’t be disappointed.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our trip to Provence. The location was very central to surrounding towns, ideal for sightseeing and relaxing in a beautiful area. The cottage was super clean and cosy, had all the amenities we needed. The host was very welcoming and helpful for recommendations or where to go and eat. Would definitely recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to Provence!

We stayed in this beautiful home for three nights while exploring the South of France. The house was so lovely and the grounds were like a dream! It was wonderful for everyone to be able to relax during long afternoons by the pool, enjoy fresh dinners under twinkling lights in the garden, and sleep peacefully in the comfortable house. The location was perfect for exploring the Luburon region - adorable and fascinating villages with great restaurants and wineries (Gordes village - is a must stop). We could also explore so much of Provence in our car as almost all of the towns we wanted to visit were close enough for easy day trips. Definitely recommend! 10/10. Delightful immaculately clean property with well kept private garden and pool in a stunningly beautiful area of Provence with several of The Most Beautiful Villages of France nearby. Charming and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday finding various restaurants in the places we visited which included local villages, Pont d'Avignon and Pont du Gard as well as a long distance visit to the Camargue Ornithological Park to see the flamingos.
