Stayed May 23, 2026The cottage was very accommodating. There was enough room to relax between shows. We were there for Spoleto. There wasn’t an office as listed so my husband used the dining table to write his reviews. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have two full bathrooms. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer since we were there for 12 days. Communication with the host was very easy with good response time. The only problem we had was there wasn’t any way to turn the car around to go forward out of the driveway. The cat sitter had his car parked continuously in the area we could have used to turn around. This was the only major problem we encountered.

Stayed May 3, 2026The lock combination provided did not unlock the door. We contacted the supprt number and they were ble to provide us with access to the lock box with a physical key. After a seven hour drive that was an unwanted task to deal with. Other than that all was great.

Stayed Apr 2, 2026Everything about this place is so good. Quaint and quiet. Perfect for a couple just getting away for a few days. Close to lots of must sees in Charleston too.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025This Vrbo stay is a good size for 1-3 guests. There is 1 large bed upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. I really liked that there were 2 full bathrooms, especially staying with 2 other people. It is definitely an older property. The location was quiet and suitable for a family. It is a smaller house off of the main property, and it suited our needs for a short stay.

Stayed Mar 27, 2025Our family visited Charleston for a long weekend. We found the property to be exceptionally clean and well kept. We enjoyed the walkable proximity to King Street and local attractions (we visited the Aquarium and Fort Sumter). We especially enjoyed the welcome coffee. Thank you for hosting us!

Stayed Mar 9, 2025Good location. Place needs a few fixes - fridge drips water on food, sofa cushions sink backwards, screen door doesn’t close fully- otherwise nice place!

Stayed Feb 10, 2025The property listing was spot on. Being an older home some of the older appliances are in need of updating but they did operate fine. Overall it was a nice visit to this historic area.

Stayed Sep 24, 2024Absolutely lovely two story location that met every one of our needs and was so comfortable (and withstood a hurricane!). Very private and quiet, but only a block or two to food, coffee, etc. As others have mentioned, it is a good mile to get to the point, but we like walking and didn't find it an issue. The only minor annoyance was that the door code was 10 digits and you also had to punch in 10 digits to lock it when leaving. We ended up with the key from the lockbox which was much more manageable. We really enjoyed our stay!
