Stayed Nov 24, 2025We stayed at the Carriage House over the Thanksgiving holiday. The location is very convenient to access, and has great walking areas around Vander Veer Park and the Outing Club area. The accommodations are comfortable and well-appointed, with period furnishings, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. There is a good selection of cookware in the kitchen and an electric stove/oven, microwave, and coffee machines. One drawback is the refrigerator, it is like a dormitory fridge and limits the amount of food you can store at one time. We found several coffee shops in the area, and visited a real gem: The Lagomarcino Chocolate shop in Davenport. This shop is a 3rd generation business and really knows chocolate. The Riverfront Trail is a great walking trail, and provides great views of downtown and the Mississippi River. There is also plenty of shopping and other activities in Davenport. The host is very responsive to questions and requests, and worked to make our stay enjoyable.

Stayed Sep 18, 2025The carriage House was adorable with all of the antique furniture and wonderable beds. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay! Our host was very accommodating and we had lots of fun learning our way around the Quad cities and visiting different stores and restaurants. We took an evening cruise on the Celebration Belle! We highly recommend this charming Carriage House! It’s close to many attractions, too!

Stayed Jul 25, 2025Came to Davenport for Bix7 race. The Carriage House was amazing, charming and so cozy. Perfect for our weekend. One of the BEST Properties that we have stayed at. Christopher was excellent to work with and responded to my questions quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Davenport. And, we will definitely stay again when back in the area.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025The carriage house was perfect for our family stay in the QCA. It was very clean, and we had everything we needed in the house. It was so nice to have a place for our 6-year-olds to just play and relax after we were out and about all day. This is a very charming place with lots of local history showcased in the books in the house and nearby attractions.

Stayed May 10, 2025This was my second 10 day stay at the Carriage House. Just as great at my first stay. This is a great property: convenient central Davenport location, spotless, well maintained with a very responsive host. This will always be my go-to spot when I visit family and friends in Iowa.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024There were no utensils to use for cooking. I went and bought a couple to use. I did leave one of them. There was limited pans to use. We did enjoy the location. We were able to walk to Vanderveer Park which is very beautiful.

Stayed Jun 14, 2024We absolutely loved the property!!! We started in carriage house & moved to main house. Carriage House is beautiful & comfortable. The main house is stunning!!! We really enjoyed the house, the neighborhood & central location to everything Davenport. Chris is a great host. He ensured we had everything we needed & checked on us throughout stay to ensure we were still happy. Highly recommend the Adler House for staying in Davenport. My fiancé is a Davenport native Bryan Loose, and was very impressed with the home & location. We will definitely stay again.
